I hope he phones up Newt

Doubtful... very doubtful. Rick Santorum has always been a supporter of Mitt Romney. If anything, he's on the phone with Mittens proclaiming "mission accomplished, now what's in it for me?" Or something like that.

Look for Rick Santorum to be endorsing Romney as he has done before.

Knock yourself out. I don’t campaign for and make nice with liberals.

You got what you want Party boys/liberals, now win without ten percent of the bases vote.

I’ll say it once again, as have others.

This is the worst Republican primary crack-up I’ve seen in my lifetime.

We’ve got Jimmy Carter to the “X” in the White House now, and we can’t mount one ding-bat that doesn’t have at least a billionaire’s wife’s level of baggage headed for ten weeks in Europe.

Right now we’ve got the RNC practicing saying “You’re welcome” in 72 different languages, so that when they say it to Obama in November, they can appear multi-cultural.

God save the Republic, because the DNC and the RNC have no plans of doing it.

Good for you ! You walked the walk.

So many on here just want to complain about every candidate and then gripe at who we have left.

We had a perfect candidate ... Rick Perry. But he was met with nothing but sneers, derision and LIES on this site

And then people whine because they don’t have a good candidate.

God bless Rick and his family. I wish them well.

Could you be any more insensitive to the fact that his young daughter was just released from the hospital today? Long term, her prognosis is not good, as she has already beaten the odds by surviving to age three (I think she is three).

Well, Romeny you had better listen to us

LOL! Interesting that you conceding this thing so quickly to Romney. The chances of Romney listening to conservatives is far less than the chances that Newt still has a chance to win.

Rick Santorum has always been for Romney. Santorum referred to Romney as a "real conservative". That's the last thing I would want "Romeny" to listen to.

I want to believe it’s about Bella, I really do, but I know Rick. He probably got cold feet about his poll numbers in PA and dropped out to try and save his career.

Seeing as he endorsed Arlen Specter, and Romney in 2008, I have a funny feeling he’ll have no trouble endorsing Romney again.

Sorry, I can't vote for a RINO and a cultist. I will not vote this election year. Don't blame me, blame the elitist for helping Romney become the front runner, and blame watchmen who have fallen asleep and let a devilish man become the GOP frontrunner.

Much sadness................

RICK SANTORUM OUT

Somehow, when I heard this, this song was the first thing that occurred to me.

Rick Santorum's daughter was never mentioned in my post. Santorum's endorsement of Romney is what kept me from trusting him. I will NOT shut up about a lRINO supporting candidate because his daughter happens to have been sick long before he decided to enter the race. That's something a liberal would expect.

Did you vote for Clinton because he had a homely daughter? If not, are you also insensitive?

No disrespect here but his daughter's condition existed before he decided to run. There's no denying that he pulled votes away from Newt and he did endorse Mitt in the past.

Oh, no, my mouth just dropped and my heart nearly stopped. I just always assumed his delegates would go to Newt. I can’t believe I was that wrong... or maybe you are wrong. I hope hope hope.

He split the conservative vote, made a path for Romney, and has done his work for the party. And then had to make it all sound holy... it’s disgusting.

Unfortunately, neither Newt nor Rick speak of uniting to mount a campaign to upset the convention and the RINO inevitability train on which we’re being loaded.

Our own have apparently ceded and will not lead a rebellion.

I am gravely disappointed.

Its over.... over for Rick over for Newt..., time to heal, chins up and move towards the objective... take down the criminal in chief!

I must have missed the Newt press conference you saw saying Newt suspended his campaign... It's over for Rick, Newt is headed to Tampa...

I was on Newt’s Florida consulting team and I don’t think we should expect any big surprise at the convention here in Tampa. Sadly. I would have liked it to have been Newt...or Santorum, but I’m one of those ABO-ers out there! With Ginsburg having Pancreatic cancer and the mortality rates associated with that disease, the stakes are too high to sit home on Election Day.

I’m not a Romneyiac, but I’ll be damned if I’ll sit home and not at least fight! The country is too damned important!
