To hell with the GOP-e. Barring a miracle, they got their big government, unconstitutional mandate loving, socialist abortionist Obama-lite RINO on the ballot, they can now get him elected.

We are the resistance!!

Shove him down our throats today, we shove him up your donkeys in November!!

I can see November from my house!!

The Believers and this country [and planet] are in God’s hands now.

I will be skipping the POTUS box on the ballot for sure.

Jim, thank you for your statement. This whole mess has shaken me to the core. And I’m not the only one. The Romney nomination will not only divide the Republican party, it has already divided this friendly group of conservatives. It’s sad to watch us accuse each other of being unpatriotic (and that’s the milder of the accusations hurled against me).

This division is manna from heaven for Obama. He probably won’t have to resort to voter fraud or intimidation to be reelected.

It’s too bad we didn’t realize the party hierarchy would screw us over like this. Had we known earlier, we could have mounted a third party candidacy. We were blindsided. So now we will have to endure four more years of Obama, maybe more if he succeeds in making himself dictator. Then watch all the pundits come out of the woodwork, scratching their heads and wondering what went wrong.

Funny, the draft-dodging surrender monkey Romney drew his line in the sand long ago when he denied Reagan-Bush, denied conservatism and ran as a gay rights pushing, Roe v Wade approving abortion advocate, big government mandate loving socialist. He’s now looking America square in the eye and lying his ass off. He’s a political whore who will say anything to get elected. Republicans are suckers.

It is they who fight and destroy Conservatives, and do NOT give the same treatment to Democrats, it is they who join forces with the Dems and their media to marginalize conservatism, in elections AND in legislation.

Guys like McCain and Romney aren't even slowing the slide into socialism any more, they're greasing the skids.

I have others “down” the ticket I can vote for.
At this point I don’t know whether to just write in a name or maybe Constitution party canidate...
Sure not voting for Romney...hes Obama lite I know it , many freepers know it..and as pappy used to say..”you can’t fix stupid” so obviously the electorate has turned stupid...was it Franklin who said “You were given a Republic if you can keep it”
Looks like we may lose it due to ignorance, apathy or some other factor.
I vowed in 2008 I was voting for Sarah, not Mclame and it wuold never happen again unless a consevative sat atop the ticket...well Mittens is no CONSERVATIVE.

What would help immensely would be if Romney were to select a real, dyed-in-the-wool conservative as his running-mate. It'll be suicide if he goes with a progressive elite.

With respect, the problem with putting earrings on a hog is that, in the end, it's still a hog you're dressing.

The VP choice matters absolutely nothing to me. It's the candidate I can't support.

I’m not voting for someone who enacted homo marriage and Romneycare in MA. If that means that Obama gets elected, TFB.

Nominate a candidate I can vote for next time.

I will happily support the constitution party as they believe in the same things that I do.

I encourage all conservatives to leave the GOP and destroy the party since it no longer represents us.

So who are you voting for if the GOPe candidate is Romney and the Donkey is Obama?

I am not being a smart ass. I am looking for guidance.

Well, if the site owner isn't interested in differing opinions, then Krystall Nacht is in order. I am as conservative as you are, but have to adopt to reality, for survival sake.

Amen and amen!

The GoP-e RINOs hatched a plan to get 90% of America to sear their conscience, set a precedent, and vote (for most/many) their FIRST ever...
...socialist
...pro-abortion
...LIBERAL.

There's just one teeny-little prob with their plan: There's not enough liberal socialist proabortion voters to go around in America to support two liberal socialist proabortion candidates!

It's NOT going to be the typical 40something% to 40something% vote...

Romney will have to "outliberal" Obama to capture the licentious Independents & the union Dems & Roman Catholic Dems & Hispanic vote. Just because conservatives won't vote for Obama does not mean Romney can get them to come their way.

The NEW FREEPER True Conservative Oath:

I will not become a shill, a catalyst or an apologist...
...for socialist healthcare elitists
...or for pro-abortion give-your-offspring-to-research slaughterers...
Nor will I vote for "I'm-your-American-god" Mitt Romney
I will not stay home on Election Day --
And hurt other true conservatives in key races
(As well as other key ballot issues)
I will write in Sarah Palin or some other TRUE conservative in the POTUS race as a collective "Protest vote" vs. the GoP-e

Just to clarify: as for me, I am not in the "Better Obama than Romney" crowd, I am in the "I won't hold my nose and vote for a Liberal" crowd - regardless of the party affiliation.

I bet many others here are the same way.

If they want my vote, they need to present a candidate I agree with and support. One I can have respect for when I don't agree.

I am not a Republican - I am a Conservative. If there is no Conservative on the ballot, then there is no one for my vote. I don't vote straight ticket - ever; never have, never will.

I fully understand the SCOTUS angle and its “supreme” importance.

Justice Kennedy has said he would retire after this 2012 election, but I have recently read that he said he would not retire if the Marxist is reelected.

I pray for the excellent health and long life’s of our 5 conservative justices.

I was reccently very happy to learn that Justice Thomas is a young 63.

Romney is much more dangerous than Obama. With Obama there is deep political division. But with Romney it is likely that won’t be the case as he swings everything to the Left.

I will not vote for Romney.
