I’m highly doubtful whether Zimmerman can get a fair trial even if he is charged, and any time the media gets itself into a frenzy over a case the defendant is acquitted: OJ Simpson, Michael Jackson, Casey Anthony, etc. I think juries understand that once the media gets involved the only fair thing to do is acquit.
Indeed, look at how the media has unfairly mangled the facts so far in the Zimmerman case.
First the media said Zimmerman was white, and it turns out he’s actually Hispanic.
Then the news media edited the 911 call to make it falsely appear that Zimmerman was equating being black with being suspicious, and it turns out it was the 911 dispatcher simply asking Zimmerman for the race of Martin.
Then the media said Zimmerman used a racial slur on the call but enhanced play of the recording shows he used the word “cold” and not another word.
Finally the media said Zimmerman had no head wound but once the images from his police station visit were enhanced there is a gash shown.
I think it’s highly unlikely that Zimmerman can be convicted given the media circus that has ensued to date, and given how much reporting about Zimmerman has been wrong I only wonder about how more is being falsely presented in the unfair bid by some to railroad Zimmerman.
From the evidence produced so far, there is not going to be a jury—because there won’t be a need for a trial.
After the State presents the evidence ( I have filtered) his Attorney will make a motion that the State has not produced enough evidence to continue and charges dismissed.
That threat of “pandemonium” from the Martin’s lawyer
was very reminiscient of 0bama’s threat to the USSC.

You’re exactly right....but who will have the courage in the media to present the truth to the public so as to stop the rioting before it begins?

Wrong. Zimmerman is to Hispanics as Obama is to whites.
Just because there was some heritage does not mean Zimmerman thought of himself - or even acted - as Hispanic.
LaRaza and other hispanic groups threw Z under the bus last month.
He may be guilty of bad judgement but no more than that.
They only need to arrest him, then have him killed in jail. Or better yet: he will ‘commit suicide’.
We are at red flag level here, let it rip!

Just wondering: How did “Hispanic” become a race? It does not even describe a specific national cultural identity. Central American natives of “Indian” stock, for want of a better term, having somehow acquired Spanish surnames absent any bloodline link to Spain, are placed within the group called Hispanic.

If he is charged, there will be a prelimenary hearing. The judge could end it here by not going to trial.
The facts have never gotten in the way of a pre-planned riot.

The msg so far is bring him to trial or you’ll have riots across the country. If they bring charges it will shift to if he’s not found guilty you’ll have riots. If he’s not found guilty the Feds will also try him after the riots to keep from having more riots. The idea that riots will occur (MSM will show what happened after Simi Valley verdict and do so repeatedly) will be in the jury’s mind. It’s very tough to vote not guilty when the result is going to be riots like the ones in LA.
We’re on the same page. Zimmerman is a “dead man walking” from now on, and needs to disappear.
Zimmerman is as white as Obama is white but we would not call Obama a white African American would we?
