The was a legal argument that COULD be made for 1st but not a good one. This is the most severe thing they have a hope of winning a conviction for

Yes, I expected manslaughter. Then again second degree will be harder to prove.

He went and talked to them without an attorney it sounds like. Who knows what he told them?

Show trial. Any decent lawyer can get this guy off at the jury selection stage.

They will have a tough time with this conviction. Even if everything is as the news media claim, a 3rd degree murder charge would be the maximum appropriate rap.

If you live anywhere near the area, be sure your fire insurance is paid up in the event things don't go the mob's way.

I’m not a legal expert, so here’s my question:

If Zimmerman is charged with 2nd-degree murder, can a jury still decide to find him guilty of a lesser charge such as manslaughter?

It is and at some point he will likely be pressured to take a plea to manslaughter. That is if he lasts that long without being murdered.

The Justice Brothers won’t be happy about this. They were hoping for no charges to keep their act going.

Figures. Goes with the lefts destruction of the 2nd Amendment. Accept that your life is in danger. Sit back and get killed. This reminds me of the Bernie Goetz case that Sharpton also ballooned up for money: Goetz eventually went to jail and was ordered to pay $42 MILLION to one of the punks who tried to stick a screwdriver into his head.
