Drift Off To Sleep By Counting The 105 Guns Stashed In Your Bed (BedBunker Gun Safe)

Drift off to sleep by counting the 105 guns stashed in your bed

Photobucket

Would you feel safer in bed at night, if you knew that just inches away you had enough firepower to weaponize a small army? If so, then the BedBunker weapons storage system could be for you.

The BedBunker is a gun safe that replaces your bed's box spring, providing a place that's close at hand to store your arsenal.

Don't worry that you might have more guns than you could fit inside your bed, because the BedBunker actually has room for 35 rifles and 70 handguns. To access all that firepower, you simply slide the mattress over, and unlock the steel doors, all of which can be done in less than 10 seconds.

One potential problem is that the BedBunker weighs a crushing 1,300 pounds empty, so you had better make sure that your floor is properly reinforced if you don't live in a single floor ranch.

BedBunkers start at $2,200 for the twin size, and go up to $4,200 for a Cal King. That sounds pretty cheap compared to the weapons you'll be stashing inside.

Problem is that it doesn’t look that secure.

Where did they conceal the bed?

It would probably be a better idea to have diverse, concealed storage throughout your home or apartment. Objects that are not what they appear, like a bed post that is a shotgun shell zip gun. Break off, cock and fire.

And if you’re going to do that, I would go for concealed “closet safe rooms” as well. A spring supported false wall that with a gentle push opens into a tall steel box whose steel door can be locked from inside, so even if they see you go in there, there is nothing they can do about it short of setting the building on fire.

If you put a mattress with fitted sheets on top of it, you can see it is not a standard box springs but something metallic. I guess you could put a partial cover around the outside. I invented a new kind of gun safe a long time ago. I took the guts out of one of our toilet tanks and made it into storage for a bunch of my pistols. It was ok until a guest, without my knowledge, went in to use the toilet. When they tried to flush it, they almost shot their butt off.

“Does it vibrate?”

Only if something inside has a bad sear.

So by the time you get to your guns the perp is already in your bedroom and out the window with the jewels your still trying to wake up your wife to get her to roll off the bed to move the mattress

Yea this is a great idea !
