That allegory was as close to the real truth of where we find ourselves as a nation, and what time it really is for this people than any other post yet replied to from Mr. Jim.

One truth in the allegory that both the German people and Americans today share, is that the man leading them by subterfuge wrote and said exactly what he was going to do before he got into power - and the people refused to believe he meant what he said he would do, or that such a thing could happen here.

The Ruling Class knows where the real power now lies, and they will do anything to share in it and have fingers on the money, and on the power to control us. Romney will not stop this, nor slow it down. He will be the broker to legitimize it all, even after he loses in a landslide to Obama - who chose Romney to run against.

As a Conservative once married to an abusive adulterous political party - I have suffered enough rape, abuse and humiliation by the hand of the Ruling Class leadership in the GOP. I want a divorce, because I refuse to deceive myself into believing that this time will be different than before.

I’m not insane. What I am reading and hearing is many folks who have been beaten into thinking they have nowhere else to go, no choice but to lie back and enjoy the rape thinking the alternative is worse, are proving that they are slaves. As if voting for the top spot is going to save us from the ruin already sown from years of this same old, same old.

Galatians 5:1. I refuse to be a slave and vote for the chosen vessel hand picked by the MarxoFascist to run against and think I’m somehow saving the nation by doing so. Because when Romney loses just as McCain did, we’re expected to just slink away and say - “Well, the Democracy has decided and I will just have to live with the consequences”, as if that is the price to pay for living in a ‘free’ society of Dependents. Shame on us to have allowed ourselves to get to this point when the Founders repeatedly warned us this would happen.

We need a divorce from this system, and a mindset and resolution of refusal to comply, capitulate or cooperate with the enemy on every level for every reason, whether from within us or from without, same as our forbears did whom established our Republic.

Since I concur that Zajko’s allegory is adroit, at what point do you refuse to play the game the Ruling Class has orchestrated for you to play, and seek Independence from those who would have us all in chains?

If you were the Florida consultant for Newt, I’d expect you to ask folks to support Newt so Romney can be stopped.

Rebellion does not start in November.

It starts right now.

Republicans have not voted in half the country. We need to send a message to the GOP-E that Romney is NOT acceptable.

He is a flip flopper, gay marriage loving, government healthcare supporting big government liberal in GOP clothing.

It is time to call a spade a spade.

We have one last conservative standing.

Newt to Tampa! Romney to Golub!

What I am reading and hearing is many folks who have been beaten into thinking...

Then hear this:

Barack Obama is a Marxist. He was mentored by Marxists, and he surrounds himself with Marxists. He is a domestic enemy to the Constitution of the United States. He seeks to destroy our economy and our culture. He has already demonstrated his disdain not only of the Bill of Rights, but of the separation of powers. He openly mocks the Supreme Court. He shows contempt for our allies, while appeasing our enemies. He incites racial hatred, while his Justice Department plays favorites. The list is almost endless.

I took an oath many years ago that I still take very seriously, and that oath comes before my pride, party or politics.

Mr. Robinson,
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to post in your forum. Good luck to you with your rebellion. We are still voting in the primary elections, and sadly, in your forum here at FreeRepublic, I never saw the good conservatives here willing to gather around a candidate. Instead, what I saw were temper tantrums and accusations that each conservative wasn't really a conservative. Threads were started telling other conservatives that *x* wasn't really a conservative because of this or that. John McCain wasn't my first choice in 2008; however, looking back, would John McCain have appointed Kagan to the Supreme Court? Did John McCain vote for Obamacare? The search for the perfection among conservatives has gone on since Ronald Reagan, who at the time, wasn't perceived by conservatives as perfect.

Our country is sinking and electing Obama to another four years will cause our demise even faster. That's your choice to actively work against the republican candidate *IF* that candidate is Mitt Romney. I respect your choice, this is your forum. I also disagree with your choice and realize that you will.......if the correct term is zot, or otherwise prevent me from posting here. I'm a freedom loving American citizen, once again, your choice.

I saw what happened in 2008 when good people followed the lead of the mainstream media and other pundits who told us that John McCain wasn't conservative enough to receive our vote. I don't claim to be smarter or more aware than anyone else, but it just made sense to me that a community organizer who spent so much time in the pews of churches preaching “hate America” for all of those years would be good for our country.

God bless you and everyone, I've enjoyed my time here.

Good luck with your rebellion.

And I think that that’s a key point you make: the ‘Mittler’ option, who in fact seeks to legitimise to a wider political spectrum much of the same manifesto which the ‘Hitler’ option more directly espouses, in fact makes it more difficult for rational opponents to manifest and motivate opposition to his agenda once in power.

Elements of the judiciary, and of the GOP in Congress, have and will continue to stand up against large portions of Obama’s agenda. Would they be prepared to do the same against Romney’s - a president from their own party, a member of the selfsame GOP elite?

What is the difference, in the end, between an entirely Socialist agenda, only part of which can be put into practice, and a mainly-socialist agenda, all of which can be put into practice with Romney as president?

If I vote for Romney (and ticking the box next to a candidate’s name is, like it or not, an endorsement from you of his stated political agenda) then I am morally complicit in whatever he afterwards does. My guilt therein may be lessened if he proceeded to enact policies which he never espoused prior to being elected: but this is not the case here. We KNOW Romney’s past, his agenda, his pro-abortion record. None of us can honestly claim innocence or ignorance on this afterwards.

Romney may yet become president, but it won’t be with my support. And whatever he does then will not be in my name. When offered 2 options, both of which are unacceptable to me, I have and reserve the right to accept neither. I will search for others which are, however difficult or unlikely they may be. If enough others think and act likewise, then what is seen as unachievable may yet be achieved: this year, next year, or in years to come.

A good example for all of us still today, is, I think, one I mentioned in my earlier post:

Is it not possible that this has opened the door for Newt? Must we assume that it's all over and Mitt will now waltz in as the chosen one? To me, this is what resistance is all about. Fight for Newt until the last vote is counted and he is officially out (or he drops out).

Once that happens, I will not vote for Barack Hussein Obama in the general, and I will vote. The destroyer of nations must not be allowed for another term.

The true list of Obama’s offenses is longer than the one the Founders wrote to justify Independence from their lawful, legal government of the Crown that they charged with tyranny, and therefore unfit to rule a free people.

And our Forbears did not allow themselves to be subjects to the Crown’s appointed Governors or Lords either.

Why then should we make ourselves subject to and support those who will continue the very tyrannies we can cite as cause for Independence from such tyranny over us?

Saving ourselves from Obama’s Marxist/Fascist Tyranny by supporting Romney would be as if our Founders were willing to support Cornwallis rather than King George III.

Too many Tory Loyalists to the Ruling Class Crown out of sheer fear of what will happen if they do not support those the Prince himself chose as their choice against him.

The Intolerable Acts we have already suffered, and yet we would deceive ourselves into thinking voting for Cornwallis is better than remaining under the King.

Not a perfect allegory - but best I can come up with at this time.

If we are to be in Rebellion against tyrants, WHICH INCLUDES being in Rebellion against a Romney nomination, then let us truly be in rebellion, and not pretend we can prostrate ourselves before the Ruling Class Lords and say we are free.

We cannot remain a free people by continuing to be beholden to a party and people who continue to sell us into subjugation to Socialism/Marxism/Liberalism.

Disobedience against tyrants is in keeping with our God Given duties to do Galatians 5:1.

Back in 1997 I found Free Republic and was amazed to see a website free of doctored news and promoted free speech in the protection of our embattled Constitution. I signed on in December 5, 1997.

Thanks to you, FR was the first with real news, not propaganda. I thank you for your dedication.

I have a gut feeling that we will be in a civil war within the next few years. When it comes to progressive Marxist advancements due to political correctness, we have been dealt a near mortal blow by the left and now words will not prevent further enslavement of free people, only action will.

It’s a given that the GOP can’t be fixed for the “fixers” are in control of it. We must try a peaceful means to take back our heritage and freedoms by the tools given us (voting) but that does not seem to be working any longer because we have gone the way of the Roman Empire with bread and circuses being the only thing the people want.

Hang in there, I (and we) are fully behind you.

I don’t like Romney; I disagree with a lot of what he has done, but he’s not Obama. I still am a Sarah Palin fan. I pray that she returns somehow and rids us of this debate.

You write that if we disagree with you we can find a new home on the Internet. That’s good for your ego. You can spout off as you wish, because its your forum. But I cannot find a new country. That’s the bigger issue; it is bigger than you. We have a defined choice: Obama or the Republican nominee.

We have a true marxist as president; one who is destroying the economy, our international character and the liberties we have. Obama is wildly pro abortion and you’re picking fights with other patriots who want to remove Obama at any cost! You are ignoring the real enemy; you know, the one whose preacher said “God Damn America.” If you are not fighting Obama with alll your soul, what does that make you?

It makes you one of Obama’s most powerful tools.

Choosing the greater evil is not the path I’ll take.
