Well said!

It makes me sick that Romney will be our nominee, but I will not sit this election out and help Obama win a second term that will, without a doubt, destroy our country. This is not a straw-man argument, it is reality!

Those of us who have decided to vote for Romney are not “cavers”, “Romeybots” etc. We are simply dealing the hand that has been dealt. I’ll say again, whatever Romney is, at least he doesn’t hate the country seeking it’s destruction. I’m not pro-Romney, I’m simply making a very difficult decision to try and save this country.

This. IMHO, Ron Paul is too extreme, and i won’t vote for someone who has messed up the military. So i’ll vote for Romney.

I'm having a hard time with this issue myself. I can't understand why we would want to throw the election to Obama (IF, a BIG IF, Romney secures the nomination).

However, I have an idea where this is going and I think it makes sense. The GOP has become Democrat-light. Perhaps the party has to crash and burn completely so that a new party can arise from the ashes.

Perhaps a sacrifice of 4 more years of Obama is worth it. It will be hell, but maybe it will be what it takes to finally wake people up.

Nothing else seems to be getting through to the GOP leadership or the average voter.

I agree.

It will come down to Obama versus one realistic opponent. I'm going to vote against Obama by voting for the realistic opponent. I had hopes for Cain and then Gingrich, but it now looks like that opponent will be Romney.

I'm just playing the odds. There is no chance that Obama will gut Obamacare. There is some chance that Romney will gut Obamacare. As Mark Steyn says, socialized medicine fundamentally transforms the relationship between citizens and their government. Once in place, socialized medicine is impossible to eliminate. This is our last chance to stop America from becoming a full-on socialist country.

There is no chance that Obama will appoint conservative Supreme Court justices. There is some chance that Romney will do so.

That's it. Those are the important issues here. Much more important than sticking it to the Republican establishment.
