So the assault on presumed Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney begins from the Obama campaign. On their Facebook page, they’ve posted this inane list of lies and half-truths:
Let’s take a look at the claims. First, Obama claims that Romney would “repeal Obamacare and take away health care for millions.” Romney has said he would work to repeal Obamacare – but he isn’t taking away health care for millions. The effect of repealing Obamacare would be to end any mandate that forces individuals to buy health care. People are still free to buy health care. Nobody is “taking away” anything.
Second, Obama’s campaign claims that Romney “opposes the President’s plan to end the war in Afghanistan and would leave troops there indefinitely.” Romney does oppose Obama’s plan to pull out of Afghanistan without any sort of rhyme, reason, or strategy. But he doesn’t plan to leave troops there indefinitely, unless you count listening to your generals “indefinitely.” By that token, our plan after World War II was to leave troops in Japan indefinitely, since troops are still there. Just because Obama has set up an insane timeline doesn’t mean that Romney should set one up himself.

Depending on whether Romney would take the bait or not. 0bama wants the discussion to be away from economic issue and make Romney like Santorum. We’ll see how he responds.
If I were Obama, I don’t think I’d be saying Romney will repeal Obamacare. That only helps Romney, as the majority does want it repealed.
Obama is trying to secure his base, first.
So will the Obama website be running a “Fight the smears” page to fight their own smears, whisper campaigns, and outright lies?
Obama’s not being truthful on one hand and on the other he may be right.
That’s the problem we have if Romney were the nominee. Mittens has stood on every side of every issue.
What a nightmare
Obama wants to outlaw self-defense.
Obama wants to outlaw private property.
Obama wants to take your stuff when he believes you have too much stuff, and give it to people he believes deserve your stuff more than you do.
Let’s just have Obama defend himself against these accurate charges.
Romney is pro choice.

Is 0bama campaigning for Romney? Because I sure wish I could believe Romney would outlaw abortion and repeal 0bamaCare.
