George Zimmerman woke up in a Seminole County jail cell this morning as the mother of Trayvon Martin, the teen he killed, revealed on national television that she thinks the shooting was an accident.

Asked what she would like to ask to Zimmerman, Trayvon's mother, Sybrina Fulton, told The Today Show that she wants an apology from him.

"I believe it was an accident. I believe it just got out of control and he couldn't turn the clock back," Fulton said, revealing her opinion on what happened the night her 17-year-old son was shot to death. "I would ask him, did he know that that was a minor, that that was a teenager and that he did not have a weapon."

Here's what I now believe... the prosecutor/ state has met with the Martin family, sharing all they know of the evidence, and of course they have truthful testimony from Zimmerman by way of a lie detector assisted confession. That evidence shows that Trayvon was the aggressor, was belligerent, and did threaten the life and limb of Z, and likely shows there was struggle for the gun.

Background evidence:

I believe a deal has been worked out between the Martin family, the prosecutor and Z. Have you noticed that the mother has recently said, that what she really wanted was an arrest of Z... not that she was pushing for a guilty verdict regardless of guilt. They all know now what went down, and they all know the propensity of T pushing the envelope, testing out his growing taste for thuggish behavior in newly actualized adult, brutish body.

Z likely is remorseful, and wishes things had not gone down the way they did, but still, he is left with the proposition, that it was either himself or T that would die that night, and justifiable homicide is everybody's conclusion. T's family knows, they knew the path he was choosing, they knew if he didn't get back to the straight and narrow, he would either wind up dead or going to jail for killing someone, they knew.

Naw....she found out she could still file a civil suit and that the criminal suit would give her “0”.

In other words, she just realized that once this goes to trial Zimmerman’s lawyer will be investigating Trayvon’s history. I’ll bet money that he is not the squeaky clean kid they are portraying and she knows this is about to blow up in their face. The memory of her son will be crushed as the truth is exposed.

This is another example of the law of unintended consequences. The got what they asked for... and now it has a life of it’s own.

I really, really hope you are right. But with that being said, I think it’s gone to far for the race baiter’s. Their only saving strategy is to just shut up and hope something new comes up on the endless MSM news-cycle and distracts everyone from this incident.

Also, P-M, it appears the prosecutor has over-charged on this one. If I understood a radio interview I heard yesterday correctly, in Florida 2d degree means they have to prove depraved indifference.

I simply don’t see how that can be done. The only thing they have is that he was following the kid for a bit. And as a neighborhood watch participant on duty, that was his job.

His injuries and eyewitnesses all prove there was a struggle with Jorge getting the worst of it. No depraved indifference there, either.

I think the word has quietly gone out that if the shooting is called “an accident”, the race-baiters can still agitate; but there is such damning evidence, and witnesses, that Martin attacked Zimmerman that any trial will not only find that Zimmerman acted in self-defense, but importantly, that Martin *attacked* Zimmerman first.

This strips Martin of any “martyr” designation, any more than any other typical “Son of Obama”, who attacks an innocent person (usually a black person). And this would kill dead the money-raising efforts of the race-baiters.

The world deserves to know Travon’s history in the light of the vicious hate which has been directed towards Mr. Zimmerman from the start without having any solid information about what happened. My understanding is that two witnesses saw Travon on top of Zimmerman bashing his head into the sidewalk. To find out whether these things are true, a trial is needed so that the truth can come out. In any case, the media and the Black Panthers took the law into their hands and it looks like they are achieving their goals.

If he did admit it was accidental then what would the true repercussions be?

If it was an accident, she might have better chances of a settlement from an insurance company.

"and she ain’t gonna lie for nobody"... just for clarification, who is the "she" you are referring to...

"I would ask him, did he know that that was a minor, that that was a teenager and that he did not have a weapon."

ALL 3 PARTS of that question are IRRELEVANT.

And if it is ruled that armed people cannot defend themselves against "unarmed" aggressors, especially if the aggressor is black and the victim is white...

WE WILL HAVE A CIVIL WAR. And we SHOULD. And I will participate willingly. This is the progressive's latest attack on the right of self-defense, and we MUST defeat it.

Yea, I dunno; I’m really pissed off about this because I can see the “Evil” circling to end our hard won Concealed Carry and Castle Doctrine laws and all behind a bonehead in Florida. So, in my state, we get Obamacare jammed down our throats by Nancy Pelosi of California and Harry Reid of Nevada and now this from Florida!

SECEDE! NOW!

“It was an accident” is a perfect defense to a charge of murder. If it was an accident, it was not murder. Case dismissed.

And then you lose everything you own in the civil suit that follows. The perfect defense is "It was deliberate and it was justified".

I wonder if NBC, in fact, even fired the so-called producer that their “investigation” found to have doctored the 911 tape. Black or not, how do we know they even terminated someone? They made the announcement late on a Friday night and never released their name. For all we know, the person still works at NBC. NBC has a history of fabricating the news to reflect their agenda. I wouldn’t put it past them to have fabricated this whole “we fired them” story. I’m just sayin’.......

Manslaughter ............ just deny, deny, and deny some more. Make the State prove their case! They can't.

THis statement is all about setting up the Civil trial...

Good point, it fits with the same mentality when she filed to trademark his name.
