I have been chuckling, sadly, to myself as these local reporters, all of whom don't know anything about Fidel Castro, talk about the Bishop's life.

All of them say what the diocese has undoubtedly released as his biography--that he was forced out of Cuba by Castro when the commie dictator took over in 1961....

But none of them seem to make the connection between the loss of freedom and the government pushing religion out of the public square.
