(CNN) - President Barack Obama holds a nine-point lead over Republican challenger Mitt Romney thanks in part to the perception that the president is more likeable and more in touch with the problems facing women and middle class Americans, according to a new national poll.

A CNN/ORC International poll released Monday also indicates a large gender gap that benefits Obama, but the public is divided on which candidate can best jump-start the economy.

Obama leads Romney by 9 points! Well, according to the Communist News Network.

And look, they're polling "internationally". Guess Americans who can vote didn't quite give them the numbers they wanted. CNN/ORC? Obama Reelection Committee?

Barack Obama is a douchebag like Kanye West.

He is not a likeable fellow.

The MSM will create all the perceptions that Obama needs.

Mitt Romney is probably the easiest target ever.

I don't buy it. Even Gallup has Romney ahead.

(But I guess CNN uses "Polling By Two Kids With a Cell Phone and a PC, Inc." now.)

yep, Obama is a nasty piece of work. Everyone is hoping that Romney will be an improvement. They are hoping he is just your everyday garden variety sleezoid egotistical politician who won’t run the stake through the heart of America.

Obama is anywhere from 9-13 points ahead depending on the poll. We can make all the usual fun we want, and the claim that all the polls are rigged, but the fact remains Romney is a disaster. An unmitigated disaster. And the GOP is going to get slaughtered in Nov because of it.

As a woman....I just don’t believe this gander gap thing. I believe it is a contrived, non-true tactic used by the Dumb Democrats.

What's that's ol' saw about there being no accounting for taste?

Heck, some people even like lizards, rats, spiders and snakes?

Not that I would ever suggest our FASCIST, Narcissistic, Neo-Commie, Islamofascist-appeasing, Community-Agitator-in-Chief, who is working diligently to destroy this Great Republics, is like any of the above?

Nope, what it goes to prove that (P.T. Barnum?) was spot on when he was supposed to have said you "Can fool most of the people some of the time."

I believe you have captured the essence of this election. If Obama is repudiated, then "tomorrow is another day." If Obama is re-elected, there will not be a tomorrow, recognizable to the averge American.

LOL. Last I looked at one of their polls, they had Democrats outnumbering Republicans something like 53 to 42 percent or some such outrageous number.

Screw CNN.

President Barack Obama holds a nine-point lead over Republican challenger Mitt Romney

Wonderful news!!! Outstanding!!!

I was starting to get nervous. A couple of polls had Romney pulling ahead. How can we teach the GOP Establishment a lesson if Romney manages to beat the most destructive, America-hating, Marxist president this nation has ever suffered? That certainly wouldn't work!

When you look at the internals, their sample is 1015 adults, that means people wandering around semi-alive and just released from jail.

This poll is so far away from the just released Gallup {which leans forward and left} that it is not even credible enough to be called a poll.

This should be referred to as a cnn fabrication.

It is whistling past the graveyard and I hope they do it all the way until the election.

Poor CNN. They can’t afford to do a real poll anymore, so they’re polling the newsroom instead.

"A CNN/ORC International poll released Monday"

There is NO CNN poll that will EVER show anything but Liberal/Marxist/Progressive/Democrat/Faggot-based vote results in their favor. Look at their audience, like any news organization, and the polls will show their colors.
