Ted Nugent Stumps for Mitt Romney at NRA Convention: “Chop their heads off in November” (VIDEO)

Washed up rocker and reality TV star Ted Nugent appeared at the NRA’s national convention in St. Louis. Nugent, a longtime NRA board member and regular presence at conventions, rallied the NRA faithful on Saturday to vote for Mitt Romney: “Your goal should be to get a couple thousand, per person who’s here, to vote for Mitt Romney in November.”

Nugent called President Obama a criminal and denounced his “vile, evil America-hating administration” which is “wiping its ass with the Constitution.” Taking it a step further, he said that “If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.” “If you can’t galvanize and promote and recruit people to vote for Mitt Romney, we’re done,” he continued.

Supreme Court justices also came under assault by Nugent, who claims that the court’s more liberal members have signed a declaration against Americans’ right to self-defense: “We’ve got four Supreme Court justices who don’t believe in the Constitution. Does everyone here know that four of the Supreme Court justices not only determined you don’t have the right to keep and bear arms, four Supreme Court justices signed their name to a declaration that Americans have no fundamental right to self-defense.” Nugent concluded with a call to cut off the heads of Democrats in November: “We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November. Any questions?”

“Washed up rocker”? Severe douche alert. Nugent is hardly washed up. In fact he is still touring to this day (he’s on tour this summer as a matter of fact). In fact he was quite active through Damn Yankees, a super group that had some big hits.

The author is a dick.

Any one who wonders what the connection between Nugent and Romney is, should simply check if they are both Mormons.

Nugent is way off base here , supporting Romney the gun grabber.

I am not a Mitt Romney supporter.

But on this issue, he has not used a lot of weasel words.

I suspect he know he doesn’t have a chance otherwise.

Ted believes BHO has got to go. So do I and also the 14 GOP senators (including the 2 cretins from GA) who voted for SB 1813 restricting travel if you owe income taxes.

That’s what is so confusing about Nugent’s position - Romney is anti-gun.

After today, ‘we’ won’t like Michele Bachmann either.

You ain't seen nothin' yet. Wait till Palin endorses Romney in Tampa. This place is going to go in to full meltdown mode.

He also got “pro-life” endorsements... boggles the mind

pro-choice in ‘94; pro-life in ‘01; choice ‘02; pro-life ‘04; choice ‘05; life in ‘06; then funded abortion in ‘06

I am still not getting why Nugent is supporting Romney the gun grabber.

Because Nugent gets it. Like the rest of us, he knows Romney is a liar and a flip flopper and has a liberal past from MA. But he's also smart enough to know the stakes of another obama term so he's willing to hold his feet to the fire once he's elected. Unlike obama, Romney won't get a pass to do what he wants - wrong skin color.

After today, ‘we’ won’t like Michele Bachmann either.

Wait till they have to throw Palin under the bus. There is going to be a meltdown of epic proportions for many people here who don't understand that virtually ALL the conservative standard bearers are going to endorse, support and campaign for Willard. Not because they necessarily like him, but because they want to defeat Hussein.

Unfortunately you can’t beleive anything Romney says

That may be true but I will hold my nose and vote because another 4 years with Obama will be a tragedy I don’t want to witness. If Romney doesn’t cut it - he will be out his next term. I think the stakes are so high nowadays, conservatives aren’t going to cut much slack but that’s just MO.

Romney supported the Brady Bill and established a state AWB after the federal one expired.

...

His pro-life credentials are just as bad:

pro-choice in ‘94; pro-life in ‘01; choice ‘02; pro-life ‘04; choice ‘05; life in ‘06; then funded abortion in ‘06

Apparently - at least according to some. It’s much easier when you’ve got someone else to tell you how to think.

It’s the Tea Party’s quickest route to extinction. Be shocked at every conservative who is anti-Obama, declare them non-existent, then be shocked to find they have no base left. Brilliant!!!!
