Save a Baby Whale for Earth Day! (NRDC lie for 17 April 2012)

Dear

Pierce Brosnan invites you to join him in saving the Gray Whale Nursery on Earth Day

Please watch this one-minute video, narrated by Pierce Brosnan, about the world’s last untouched sanctuary for gray whales. This Earth Day, you can help protect baby gray whales (and their mothers) by saving an acre of the whale nursery in the name of a loved one. What a great gift for them and the whales!

I hope you’ll join Pierce Brosnan in celebrating Earth Day by protecting gray whale mothers and babies in the name of someone you love.

Please watch Pierce’s video, then save an acre of the world’s last unspoiled gray whale nursery in honor of someone special.

The spectacular footage you’ll see of this pristine paradise is a powerful reminder of how much we can achieve when we work together.

BioGems Defenders like you helped stop the Mitsubishi Corporation from building a massive salt factory on the shores of the whale nursery. But this untouched birthing ground remains threatened by development.

That’s why NRDC is working to permanently protect it by putting 500,000 acres around the whale nursery off-limits to industry -- forever.

This Earth Day, join thousands of others who are coming to the defense of the whales by buying a Green Gift. For just $20, you can save one acre of land around their last untouched nursery in the name of a friend or family member.

Please save an acre of their last safe haven today. Mother Earth -- and all of us here at NRDC -- will thank you.

Sincerely,

Frances Beinecke President Natural Resources Defense Council

P.S. NRDC Green Gifts has more than 50 great gifts to choose from, all guaranteed to help save the environment. See our full Green Gifts collection.

KEYWORDS:
Facts regarding these "endangered" whales:

Listed as "Least Concern;" not threatened at all. Population estimated at 22,000. But the NRDC uses more lies to create another "endangered species" alert. There is a small, isolated population of approx. 130. These liars are using this one isolated population in Russian waters to use the "endangered!" fog horn they so love, carried by the drooling lapdog Rancid Media.

And shame on Pierce Brosnan.

Good try, Frances, but we've caught you lying again.

p.s. Still wearing your pearls at meetings? What about the oysters you killed to get them? Hypocrite.

And shame on Brosnan.

Geez. It’s time for that annual enviro-liberal holiday, Earth Day. Gotta listen ad naseum to news reports about how we all should be green to help mother earth, how kids in school are learning about the environment, and similar platitudes.

What always gets me is that, the environment, pollution from industry, pollution from cars, etc. is all much better than in 1970 at the time of the original earth day. Yet these radicals talk as if the last 40 years of environmental clean up never happened.

I’m sure they will get in lessons about global warming into the earth day agenda, as they urge us all to recycle and buy a Chevy Volt and all that.
