Some of the mods do that crap. They’ve done it to me several times.

Sounds like the old joke: I was having dinner with my mom and I meant to say, “Pass the salt,” but it came out, “You b****, you ruined my life.”

How petty!

My tagline was "9/11/2001 NEVER FORGET"

Wonder what they didn't like about that?

I’m surprised that the iphone doesn’t have an internal speech recognition app. Android has an internal speech recongition software and there are apps that convert to text. Why would you need to go through the upload/download rigamarole to an apple server somewhere else? My first theory is that there was crosstalk, that is he got someone else’s transcribed data back. It is impossible for bluetooth to be hacked in a car, since it only works for short distances. Another theory is that the radio didn’t turn off.

The SIRI system is far beyond the speech recognition of the Android. It uses the mainframes on the Cloud to do far more than just recognize speech. The Apple iPhones have had speech recognition built in for some time and can do the basic stuff the Androids have done since then. SIRI is artificial intelligence... and requires more computing power than you can stuff into a phone.

My iPhone left a pair of strange panties under the seat.

My wife found them.

Somebody has targeted Rush personally for hacking. Bluetooth, or whatever, they have gotten his phone hacked, by whatever means. They were jerking his chain, just to prove they could do it. Not only is this illegal, but dangerous. That means anybody’s iPhone/Bluetooth/WiFi setup can be hacked.

Obama carries a Blackberry. But Mossad could never get inside of it. Nope, never.

Basic speech recognition is easy to do on a phone. Siri takes much more computational muscle and storage. Plus, from what I hear, Siri is constantly learning, so corrections that millions of others make go to making your experience better.

If this truly happened, then it could be replicated. Someone just has to set up a comparable system to Rush’s and play around until they find the vulnerability.

It happened back in the late 80’s, then off and on up to the mid 90’s.

I thought it was the FBI because that is the agency I had gone to with the complaint against the police officer, but it turned out it was the ATF.

In fact, May 5th 1993 I was contacted by one of the ATF agents investigating Waco.

He tried to make it appear as if it was just a chance meeting, but his story as to how he ended up in the same place as me just didn't add up. Something as simple as his walking through the wrong door, I new his story was bogus.

He confirmed my suspicion his story was bogus by calling me by my last name when he left. I never told him my last name so he had to know who I was before we had our “chance” meeting.

After that I saw a picture of one of the ATF agents involved with Waco and there was no mistaking her as one of the people that had me under surveillance in the 80’s.

That Turkish woman who was an FBI interpreter working the intercept traffic out of the Middle East (she was fluent in Turkish and Farsi), think her name was Sibyl Edmonds (married to an American), had a similar story. She testified to a House committee chaired by a Pubbie, during the George Bush 43 Administration, after being suppressed and fired by her FBI supervisors for calling attention to evidence of US officials' wrongdoing, but nothing ever came of it.

She was alleging corruption and major drug-dealing by and among US and foreign officials, including the CIA. Most of the intercept work she did was, iirc, in the late 90's, under the Bent One's administration.

I am probably gonna start a pissin' match but here goes...

* All these Tech types are liberals and can't stand us.
* Worse they build all this crap in China.
* I won't buy one period.

Now look at all the players who are Obamatons.

Google, Facebook, Apple ( Jobs in particular, nasty liberal he was) and even Gates.

Don't use their Crap Period...

Maybe it is time for us to go Ludite and stay with our PC's and go Unix or whatever...

Maybe it is time for Rush to step away from the Apple Crack-Pipe.

I have no simpathy for him on this, how are they not gonna bust his stones and the rest of us from now to Nov ?

In the 80's? What were you doing in the 80's, flying with Barry Seal and Eugene Hasenfus? Chasing Imad Mugniyeh around Beirut? What else did we have going on back then? Afghanistan? The Iran-Iraq War?

You can't have been working for the Bushies yet (but see above, Barry Seal). And yeah, I've seen the Mena flightline photo of Dubya and Jeb. (I think it was Jeb. One of the brothers. Jeb or Neil.)

...All these Tech types are liberals and can't stand us.

That wasn't true 10-12 years ago. A big proportion of early adopters were pretty conservative. Remember how Net polls used to tilt conservative consistently? DU was insignificant back then, ditto Kos.

The liberal thing is the RatRoots smooth move, driven by Rahm and Ex-Lax.
