obamma just pulls numbers out of a hat and then finagle them to accomplish what he wants. No rhyme or reason to his unemployment numbers.

Oh, Gawd. Rush is the last person to ask for help in clarifying this particular issue. Every time he talks about it, he insists on digging himself in deeper.

The labor force participation rate is only indirectly related to the "universe of jobs."

I'm repeating myself, but... I'll bet a plugged nickel that the BLS will manipulate the U3 number down to 7.9 or lower come Oct/Nov.

Meanwhile the U6 number will still be way above 10%. Possibly 15%.
