True, but it wouldn't have happened without overwhelming cooperation from blacks.
The real "divide" is not racial, but between people who consider themselves victims of forces beyond their control, and people who say, "I am responsible for my actions, and I accept the consequences."
Yep.
The Thomas Sowell quotes thread has this gem:
17) “The vision of the anointed is one in which ills as poverty, irresponsible sex, and crime derive primarily from ‘society,’ rather than from individual choices and behavior. To believe in personal responsibility would be to destroy the whole special role of the anointed, whose vision casts them in the role of rescuers of people treated unfairly by ‘society’.”
“True, but it wouldn’t have happened without overwhelming cooperation from blacks.”
Absolutely; I don’t absolve blacks from this any more than I absolve whites that refuse to breed. Neither group has any right to complain about what is imported to replace them.
