Obama can only issue pardons for federal offenses. Mumia was convicted murder by Pennsylvania. Only the Governor of PA can pardon him.

This Mumia crap is ridiculous. He was sentenced to death more than 20 years ago, but his sentence has been commuted to life in prison. He should be dead, instead he's being courted by communists as an icon of the "corrupt" justice system.

Obama has no power to pardon Wesley Cook. He was convicted of murder in the state on Pennsylvania. It was not a federal crime.
