Egypt informed Israel Sunday afternoon that it is unilaterally cancelling the agreement of supply of gas to Israel. The announcement was made to EMG, the firm that receives the gas from Egypt, and reported on Channel 2 news.
The peace treaty with Egypt includes a financial appendix, in which Egypt agrees to supply Israel with oil. Several years ago the appendix was changed so that the oil was replaced by gas. The treaty commits Egypt to supply Israel with the amount of gas it requires for a specified period, in exchange for payment.

"The Mother Of All October Surprises"! Speaking of October surprises... I expect, and won't be surprised when Jonathon Pollard is released, oh, somewhere around late October.

US aid to Egypt (currently our second largest aid recipient) began when Egypt signed it's peace treaty with Israel. If Egypt is abrogating that treaty, US aid needs to end. We're supplying Egypt with 1.3 billion dollars of military aid this year - that's 1.3 billion dollars worth of Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics military hardware that will soon be aimed at us.
Throwing Mubarak to the wolves was quite the achievement for Obama and Hillary Clinton, the Laurel and Hardy of US foreign policy.

And Egypt will replace this valuable source of foreign exchange, on top of its 17+% drop in tourism with....uhhh, er, ummm...what? US tax dollars.

Lots of people whine that Hillary should have been POTUS but I have yet to be aware of any decent accomplishments by her. Are there any? Anyone? Seriously.
Far as I know she travels and talks and that’s about it. Just like that nincompoop she reports to.

The Musi’s rely on the example of the big MoHo who made a treaty with a group of Jews and stated a treaty should only last 10 years or till your group is stronger than those you make the treaty with. So never count on them to stay peaceful.

If we go to war with Egypt, the US will be right by our elbow, demanding that we stop and go back to the post-Camp David border. Can’t just disregard a treaty, can we?/s

We had this sort of discussion in Social Studies when I was in the 8th grade. The teacher went on about conditions on the reservations like substandard housing, poor nutrition, lack of running water or indoor plumbing in homes, limited or no access to modern medicine, etc....
I raised my hand and asked what I thought was a logical question: How was this any different than how they lived before European settlers showed up?
It wasn't well received.

It depends on the tribe: We have one reservation in ND which has taken a stand against the EPA over fracking, claiming the EPA has no authority to regulate it there, and another which has banned fracking from the Rez.
Aside from illustratng the differences, it provides an interesting case. If one tribe has the authority to ban fracking from reservation land, then the other should have the authority to permit it.

It wasn't well received. your problem was that you asked a logical question. Schools are usually ill-equipped to answer such queries. The teachers have been brainwashed by their liberal college educations, and are only able to follow the talking points....please, in the future, try not to confuse them with logic.
