In an article in the current National Journal called "The Post Al Qaida Era," I write that the Obama administration is taking a new view of Islamist radicalism. The president realizes he has no choice but to cultivate the Muslim Brotherhood and other relatively "moderate" Islamist groups emerging as lead political players out of the Arab Spring in Egypt, Tunisia and elsewhere. (The Muslim Brotherhood officially renounced violence decades ago, leading then-dissident radicals such as Ayman al-Zawahiri to join al Qaida.)
It is no longer the case, in other words, that every Islamist is seen as a potential accessory to terrorists. "The war on terror is over," one senior State Department official who works on Mideast issues told me. "Now that we have killed most of al Qaida, now that people have come to see legitimate means of expression, people who once might have gone into al Qaida see an opportunity for a legitimate Islamism."
The new approach is made possible by the double impact of the Arab Spring, which supplies a new means of empowerment to young Arabs other than violent jihad, and Obama's savagely successful military drone campaign against the worst of the violent jihadists, al Qaida.

Y’all listen up. I have studied Islam for almost 50 years—one-half century. There is no moderate Muslim. There is no Islam-’ism.’
It is Islam. It means ‘submit.’ This is a command form of ‘s+l+m.’
We have been in a Holy War since before 9/11. I don’t care if you believe this or not. Don’t worry, though, for it will find you even if you don’t believe my words.
What you see behind those exotic, whitewashed walls of the streets of Cordoba, or anywhere else so quaintly displayed with baskets of lush bouganvillas and vibrant, fuscia colors, vines and gentle fountains, serves to hide the iron-clad rule behind those walls. Those walls, by definition, are white-washed and deceivingly beautiful.
The force you feel when you willingly enter behind them is something entirely different. You may escape if you either find a way out and run or fight to the finish. But if you lose, you lose everything you ever had.
Kinda sounds 2008, doesn’t it? Well, it’s 2012. Want some more, or are you beat down enough to play dead or ‘submit’ on your own?
The Federal Bureau of Islamists is just another stalking horse for the inevitable American caliphate. Most Americans have nothing to believe save the lies told on TV. Obama and company will steal the next election if Arizona voter laws are thrown out.

Because they have never learned it, and they can’t, since 1962, in public schools.
I was there. I remember. Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln, big as life, on classroom walls. The pledge. Then the prayer. Every day.
All of that is gone and must be actively sought by the individual instead, and hidden when in public.

Of course it can.
No one can. If you're not already one of them, then you are an infidel and an enemy. Islamists can, do, and will continue lie to you to further their cause - right up to and including converting or killing your infidel backside.
So, safely embrace Islamists? Only if you consider being forced to convert to their religion/cult and laws or die as being "safe." If you love your beliefs, your freedoms, and your life then no, there is nothing safe about Islam. Period.
Frankly, I think he does safely embrace islam.

Is it just possible that Islam is the “stronger” society and will prevail over our more tolerant, egalitarian, and therefore weaker society? We are no longer capable of the viciousness required to defend against the truly vicious and evil strengths of Islam. If we are incapable of identifying and killing the enemy, the enemy will kill us. Therefore this enemy is likely to prevail. It’s happening in Europe, it’s happening in the U.S., it’s happening in the ME. Being tolerant of intolerance, is creating an intolerant humanity.

No, tolerance and egalitarianism are not occurring in the ME. The US is no longer tolerant or egalitarian, IMHO.
The biggest question is whether we will deny that Jesus Christ is the only Begotten Son of the God of Moses, Abraham, and Issac—not Abraham and Ishmael. Nothing else matters.
As Obama begins to realize he will not be reelected, he shifts to his "President of the World" campaign.
Funny, I just read the other day about the U.N. coming in to America to "investigate" our treatment of Native Americans on reservations. Now we're being told he's helped Muslims all over the world gain legitimacy. Guess those world-wide campaign donations make sense.
