Scandals are shaking the Obama administration. Personnel with the highest of security clearances are being intimate, in the most basic definition of the word, with foreign nationals. Pillow talk, anyone? Other high-ranking officials cavort with clowns and psychics, all paid for on the government dime. Hot tub, anyone?
In the meantime, a human tragedy is occurring driven by a much more expensive if equally sordid scandal at NOAA that goes on under the radar of media attention. Steve Urbon of the New Bedford Standard-Times asks, "What about our scandal?"

Our House and Senate are essentially worthless institutions. And our Supreme Court is about to determine whether there’s a scintilla of credibility left in it. We indeed are headed into very rough times, even if we could have a conservative President for which those odds are essentially 0 anyway.

In looking up Dr. Jane Lubchenco I discover yet another Obama administration leftist academic with no real world background in the realm she serves. I doubt she’s ever even held a fishing pole. But all jokes aside, she needs to cough up the $40,000,000. Likely, too, that her department’s behavior will cost some votes in Massachusetts.
That’s because authentic investigative JOURNALISM is practically dead these days.
