Easton Patch ^ | 4/24/12 | Tom Coombe

Posted on 04/24/2012 5:29:23 PM PDT by jimbo123

It was a quiet Election Day in Easton, with few people turning out to vote in Pennsylvania's primary.

"Worst one I've ever seen," said poll worker Mae Whitman, at the seventh district in the city's West Ward. "We had to struggle to get eight or nine this morning."

Might be a record-low turnout in the states that voted today.

Was it NOT enough that Team Romney gave America
to Obama and the DNC on the eve of Election 2008?

The eGOP and their commie lib pals in the state run propaganda machine have already chosen their boy Milt as our candidate. Why bother.

The Republican establishment had best pay attention here ~ when no one is running but Romney nobody shows up to vote.

They aren't going to show up in November either if this guy is the nominee.

I voted for Newt Gingrich in NYC at 7pm today and I had ballot #3.

Same around here. About half of last year’s turnout - and this is a presidential year.

“I voted for Newt Gingrich in NYC at 7pm today and I had ballot #3.”

That number is appalling. You determination is commendable, and thank you.

I see no need to donate any money to the GOP or bother to turn out to vote for the Communist Party Lite, vs the Democrat Communist Party.

P-rogressives

And when Rush howls in to his EIB microphone to vote for Romney I will give him the same treatment he gave me over the NBC issue.

I voted at 1PM for Gingrich. I was #83 which was exceptionally low around Audubon. I assume there were some Dem voters also, so couldn’t have been more than 50 GOP. No poll greeters. Place was dead.

At my polling place on the West end of Northampton County, we were just over 100 votes at 4PM when we voted. That is really light turnout. It seemed odd to me with a serious Senate race to vote in and we had a State Senate race contested too.

It was a quiet Election Day in Easton, with few people turning out to vote in Pennsylvania's primary.

Voted at noon and the workers said it was very low turnout. I was #242 of the Republican voters and 141 was the next for the sociopath vote. There is very deep anger (to the person) in Pennsylvania about being cut out of the primary process with such late voting. I don't think you will find any Pennsylvania voter who does not believe all state primaries should be held on the same day.

So far, ONE state has had a huge turn out.
ONE STATE has had a campaign against Obama and liberals.
ONE STATE has shown how we can win in 2012.

It was not a Romney state. What a shock. /s

Wow!

I was just hearing similar reports from voters on Levin’s radio program.

“I voted for Newt Gingrich in NYC at 7pm today and I had ballot #3.”

That's because the other remaining 115% of the population are registered democrats.

THat’s incredible for NYC...and I hope the motivated grassroots gets their say.

Voted at the opening bell here in Pa. I was voter #5. But the reports here say turnout was abysmal.

Go Gingrich, GO ROHRER!!!!

I went to the Cherryville PA Fire Station to vote. It was near 4pm. There were a few cars in the parking lot. A woman outside near the door entrance was handing out Welsh flyers and another guy was trying to give out democrat recommendations. I walked in and looked around. There was no other voter in the room. Not a single one, just the building volunteers and staff. The lady sitting behind the table informed me that I will need to show id in November. At this rate, I figure it won't even matter since no one will bother to vote. What a disgrace.

The democrats running the polls probably didn’t shred my ballot or delete the scan this time just out of pity.

we need to fire up and get out the vote for Newt from here on out. If Newt wins the “popular” vote especially with large turnouts in Texas and California he can make the case for a brokered convention by playing the “one man one vote” card.

Anything is better than Mitt.

LOL. We must have passed each other today. I was driving the Buick wagon. I vote on the Treichlers side. Had my ID ready to go and they didn’t even care. I hope that changes this Nov. I guessing you vote with the high falutin people on the other side.

BTW, I got into it with the Welch chick. She asked me for my support and told her and the hippie kid with her that as much as I hate Argall, there was no way in hell I was voting for a dude that gave money to Fast Eddie and John Street. The conversation ended abruptly.
