TBF, when I was a young man, I played competitive sports. After losing to a superior team for the 3rd time, my coach put his hand on my shoulder and asked—”you ok?”— and I said, “I hope we meet the bastards in the playoffs.” -:)

We can show them how it's done - how you don't give up no matter the odds, how the measure of the battle tempers you and you face reality and still go on, and how standing fast for your principles, when everyone else around is looking for the bus home... are just as important as the number of votes and primary wins...

In some ways, that is a more honorable battle than just fighting Romney and the GOP...

Too many republicans like my mom. They have no stomach for the kind of battle Newt would take to Obama. They just want a “safe”, non-threatening, feel good candidate like Romney.

Time now to focus on taking the Senate, and increasing our majority in the House. That’s the best way to direct the nation’s future.

Santorum beat Newt in Pennsylvania. I wonder if people did not realize he was out, or just could not pull the lever for one of the other three.

Yeah, other than beating Romney in 11 states and twice in Missouri, finishing second almost everywhere else, nearly knocking Romney out despite being outspent 10:1, standing up for the unborn, standing up for traditional marriage, cutting welfare entitlements, what has Rick Santorum ever done for us?!

Santorum “suspended” his campaign which allows him to keep his delegates as I understand. His name is still on the ballots. I am surprised RS didn’t win his own state as a “loyal” gesture to their native son.
Romney was going to take it anyway.
