Personally, I’d be a little more impressed with CIA efforts at counter-terror if 9/11 had never happened.

After the first attack on the World Trade Center back in the Nineties, al-Qaeda had certainly signalled their interest. Was anyone watching?

One can only be as watchful as the people on top will let you be. With Clinton setting the stage, what could one expect back in the 1990s. And, it's happening again, with Obama, where the war-on-terror is no longer being waged, and the wars in Afghanistan and in Iraq are no longer priorities. We are being set up for another 9/11. Count on it.
