PHOENIX (Reuters) - A defiant killer who asked for no mercy, shunned a clemency hearing and railed against immigrants at his sentencing was put to death by lethal injection in Arizona on Wednesday for kidnapping and killing a Hispanic college student in 1992, officials said.
Thomas Kemp, 63, was pronounced dead at 10:08 a.m. local time at the state prison in Florence, about 60 miles southeast of Phoenix, a state official said. His last words were: "I regret nothing."

If the laws were such that murderers were given a speedy trial and executed with 18 months then there would be a loss job security for all those directly or indirectly involved in the criminal justice system.
Even the 9th Circuit gave their blessing to have this dirtbag excised.
Next up, in May, is a rapist/murderer, one Samuel Lopez. Another individual who really, truly needs hanging.

Remorse should not matter at all. We’re not all women here swayed by sobbing, tears and apologies.
There’s a difference between people who say it and people who actually do it.
Personally I am pretty much in favor of anything that dissuades ANY illegal alien, from ANYWHERE, from entering the country illegally. They have no right to be here, untraceable.
Plenty of illegals murder American citizens every year. More than enough reason to use everything and anything to keep them from entering illegally.

Poor dog had probably been abused from someone equally as kind to dogs as your dad, and the dog’s fear was absolutely borne out by your dad’s crude reaction.
I know farm people view animals differently, but this story makes me think your dad was a dangerous man.

I posted something similar here, having been bitten by a dog twice when I was young how we destroyed the dogs because they could never be trusted again. I couldn’t beleive the uproar it caused here on FR. I tried to explain that HUMAN life is always superior to animal life but in many minds here, animal equal human. Surprised me.

"If more of them wound up dead, the rest of them would soon learn to stay in Mexico, where they belong."
One of the funniest of those last words was “string of profanities directed at staff”. There was also an idiot whose last words were “Go Cowboys.”
