White House counterterrorism official John Brennan publicly described how Al Qaeda targets are chosen for drone strikes, the first time the Obama administration has described the widely known practice so openly and in such detail.
Brennan, speaking in Washington on Monday, says President Obama wants to be more transparent with the American public a year after a raid by Navy commandos killed Usama bin Laden in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
"Yes, in order to prevent terrorist attacks on the United States and to save American lives, the United States government conducts targeted strikes against specific Al Qaeda terrorists, sometimes using remotely piloted aircraft, often referred to publicly as drones," Brennan said.

I wouldn’t mind at all that barry’s killing islamists. It’s just that he’s such a duplicitous SOB that I can’t help but wonder what his real motivation is in doing it. One muslim killing other muslims. Hmm. Just thinking about it, that’s actually quite common. Such savagery goes on so often among these cretins that I think they must be a sect at odd with his, or something. One thing though seems sure. He wouldn’t lift a finger to actually help America. And I genuinely believe that he is engaged in proxy murder and mayhem of our forces afield. Therefore the real reason must lie elsewhere. Maybe he figures that by just p’ing them off all the more they’ll just continue their murderous rampage. What’s another dead islamist to an islamist? Heck, when Iran goes nuclear there are going to be one hell of a lot of dead people around; islamists, Jews, Americans....
