Envelopes containing suspicious powder were sent through the mail to at least seven locations in Manhattan, primarily Wells Fargo banks, police officials said.
"This is a reminder that you are not in control," said a message that arrived with the envelopes. "Just in case you needed some incentive to stop working we have a little surprise for you. Think fast you have seconds."
Several samples tested negative -- evidently containing corn starch, police said. Later, all the powder samples were determined to be non-toxic, The Associated Press reported.

My bet is that it will be investigated because so many senior FBI agents are professionals, but the investigation won't get much White House support because these thugs are Obama's and Holder's natural allies. The Occupy morons don't seem to understand that this is just like pointing a real-looking gun at someone for laughs - a whole lot less funny when everyone else reacts as if it was real.
These ‘suspicious powder’ events are very expensive to resolve. This is terrorism, and we are watching it happen in the USA.
There will be an investigation as fierce as the one Algor ordered on Earth First.

You can thank Despot Mike Bloomberg for this. He already allowed them to terrorize small businesses down near wall street last year, let them smash up some stores, absolutely no arrests for that. So why not let them terrorize employees of banks as well? Really looking out for the citizens of New York city there Mike, not that you would care being that you are a rich guy from out of state like most of these OWS terrorists.
All that could end up coming back to haunt Bloomberg.
He’s absoluteoly insane or just drunk with power. Everybody I talk to hates that guy like you can’t believe. He’s been going nuts making traffic as bad as humanly possible because of his fanatical obsession with global warming. His reasoning being that is if traffic is so incredibly bad, people will not drive which is ludicrous.
So for the past few years he’s been literally cutting streets in half. One lane hes made for buses, and the other lane for bicycles. So where there use to be 3 lanes for cars, now there is only one. ALL the time I see ambulances, firetrucks, cop cars stuck in traffic going nowhere with their sirens blaring. God forbid there is another 911 because a hell of a lot of people are going to find themselves without any help. And for what? So Al Gore can make money on his hoax.
Oh yes, now he is cutting 1st avenue near the 59th street bridge in half which is right near a hospital. So now ambulances are going to go through hell and traffic is going to be backed up on the bridge all the way to Queens. the guy is a freakin’ psycho, but this is what you get when a liberal who disguises himself as a Republican is elected into office. You get pure Despotism, a guy who doesn’t even recognnize term limits, does whatever the hell he wants and says to hell with the people.
After reading your posting, I cannot help by shake my head, wondering, why the folks in the NYC area put up with him. Just saw a video early this morning from YT about the new One WTC Tower or Freedom Tower reaching 100 floors. When you said you fear another 9/11, NYC better have a much imporve emergency system in place. Better yet, vote out Bloomberg in the next mayor election.
