Eyesore?! It looks awesome. I could deal with that house next to mine.

It reminds me of, "Put Me in the Zoo". I would love to live by this.

Why is it always polka dots? Why no jig dots, or square-dance dots, or hokey-pokey dots? Argh!

Not bad at all. It’s neatly done. Live with it.

I agree—a man’s home is his castle. If he wants a polka dot castle he should have it.
Having lived through 3 bleak ND winters, I would have found this house to be a bright spot in all that snow and ice that lasts for 4-5 months.

A person has a constitutional right to be a jerk. And it’s not like it’s in a nice area - it’s next to the projects.

“Ryan Brooks, the citys senior planner, said the polka dot house is an eyesore and that he thinks its Deitzs way of protesting the citys decision not to buy the property.”
It’s looks great! And even if it is a protest, at least it is creative and constructive rather then .rundown, neglected and destructive.

I’ve seen *much* worse paint jobs on houses where the occupants weren’t even trying to make a statement.
And, unlike my neighbor’s houses, I’m pretty sure the polka dots don’t BARK THEIR @#$%^ HEADS OFF all night... I can live with quiet polka dots, no problem.
