ATLANTA - Fire crews were battling a four-alarm blaze at Tyler Perry Studios in southwest Atlanta on Tuesday night.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known, according to Atlanta Fire Department officials.
There were no reported injuries as of 9:15 p.m.
According to the studio website, the 200,000 square feet facility features five sound stages, a post-production facility, a back lot, a 400-seat theater, a private screening room and designated areas for entertaining and hosting events. It was moved to its current location in 2008.
It was not immediately known which area the fire was located. Fire officials said there was partial collapse to one or two buildings.

Another location that he used for a prop that had troubles later.
doubtless the insurance premiums are current.
Anyone know where Zimmerman was?
“The studios hosted a fundraiser for President Barack Obama back in March.”
How Convienent.
Obama has a fundraiser in a building, maybe leaves some evidence and the building burns down while Obama is on an airplane and cannot be connected to the arson.
LOL!!@
Maybe next time he won’t be so quick to play the ‘card’ when he gets caught breaking the law.
I always knew deep down that Tyler Perry was a flaming lib!
Tyler Perry is a friend of Oprah, isn’t he?
Maybe she can build him a new studio...
I read years ago that her first name is Orpah. Oprah is better.
Are you sure she wasn’t named ‘Orca’?
As for studios, she has Harpo (Oprah spelled backwards) Studios in Chicago, which just shut down Rosie O’Donnell’s show. Plenty of room for Tyler and his crew.
Or, maybe Tyler was looking for a write-off.
Oprah will be burning her studio soon...
This is unusual since buildings today have many fire safeguards.
Were they using kerosene laterns for light?
Arson...oh no doubt the usual , faulty wiring.
