SAN FRANCISCO: Double whammy! City warns store after Occupy protestors smash windows
SFGate: City Insider ^ | 5/3/12 | John Coté

To the folks at Weston Wear, it was like getting salt rubbed in their wound.

The day after a marauding band of Occupy protestors smashed the Valencia Street clothing store’s windows, the owners got another jolt – a city citation notice for having graffiti on the plywood they had put up over the vandalized windows.

“It was just a head scratcher to us,” said Bridget Moore, the store manager. “It seemed there was no thought why we had a bunch of plywood up.”

The store’s four windows were smashed in the Monday night protest – ostensibly held over income inequality – and Weston Wear had them boarded up later that night. The next morning, Moore said, she discovered a small graffiti tag on the plywood.

. . .

Moore said that Tuesday afternoon, less than 24 hours after the protest turned violent, she found a city notice of citation taped on the plywood saying they had 30 days to remove the graffiti or face an escalating $500 fine.

Maybe someday the big quake will come and California will slip into the sea never to be heard from again.

[ Time to move. ]

Disagree: Time to go Galt!

Time to go "Korean"

But since this is in San FranSicko.. There are nothing but (bleep)less fags and latte sippers just wringing their hands as their property is destroyed and police do nothing.

Idiots. I hope they get burned out while they call 911.

This is too much! SF deserves their lefty existence in Sodom and Gomorrah.

They may want to move now that they have wrecked the place. Stay out of Texas. Stew in the utopia you have unleashed upon your own heads.

Well I could probably install it myself without a permit. However, I can’t hire someone licensed to install it without a permit.

Since I want it installed correctly I’m going for someone who knows how to do it. I’ve tried hanging an entry door before, not gonna go there again.

Hey before you do that.....

For reasons we wont discuss here, my local Sheriff’s department busted my front door in with a battering ram years ago. Shortly thereafter I moved (crooked cops suck, this one was eventually caught). The frony door had a huge dent in it so I was running around measuring and shopping for a door.
My neighbor had a brilliant idea. The door was steel on the outside, so i went to Auto Zone and got 15 bucks worth of Bondo and hardener. 1 hour later, with the exception of the faux grain on the door that wasnt in the bondo, I had a perfect door....

There is simply something really weird and unhealthy living in a place where it neither snows or freezes. May be good for fruits and nuts but not so good for the long term mental health of Europeans whose brains evolved in cold dark climates. California is one strange place.

Never been to California have you? It gets down to -40 below here in the eastern part of the state some winters and we generally have the highest snowfall in the U.S. every year.

I tend to agree. Liberals move from place to place destroying cultures in their wake like a bunch of locusts. Texas is growing fast enough.

Gotta worry about Hurricane Obama ripping all the conservative servers out Nationwide after November. Meanwhile we here at FreeRepublic declare our intentions to not vote or vote third party...I see bad things on the horizon.

Well then-—there’s only one thing left to do for SF’ins to fix that mess. Keep voting DemoRat ad infinitum.
