We're destroying ourselves from the inside out.

Took myself over to Michael Patrick Leahy’s blogspot and looked over his “Conservative rules for radicals” and the nine Alinsky rules that he agrees with. Gently suggesting that all take a look if you can.

We are consistently violating most of the conservative rules and assisting the Marxists in their march toward a second term.

Are we going to be able to pull together toward a common goal, or have we let the rope slip? We have to decide what we can get behind that has the greatest chance of removing the Marxist and not replacing him with the more of the same.

Yet we cannot seem to come together and now are at one another.

I'm not preachin’. I have in my heart respect for all individuals who come here to debate, who love freedom, who respect morals and values, and who want our country to remain the United States of America as our founders intended it to be.

But, we have to find a path that we can march down in great numbers toward resisting the direction this country is headed. And we're not going to do it by disrespecting one another.

The Marxists have managed to inject fear into our everyday existence and that is their single most potent tactic. It activates the fight or flight in all of us. We need to fight. But, not one another.

I am disgusted almost unto death with those who are in office - only by the hard work and votes of good people, people like Freepers - who have so drastically betrayed our trust, leaving us here now holding a tattered republic in our hands. Shame on them. May God have mercy on them. I sure don't.

I'm going to bed now. We'll fight on tomorrow. But it must be the enemy. Not each other. God bless ya all.

Freedom is certainly messy. I like it.

Mitt is extremely worrisome and no amount of word salad here is going to change that. He has the theoretical capacity of pushing things more leftward than Obama would. What makes him tick is a matter of educated guess. We can safely say that being a Mormon does not encourage him to forego flip flopping, as Mormon theology has flip flopped at what Mormons claim to be the will of God. But neither does existing Mormon theology seem to dictate what he’ll actually do.

Still, I think that Mitt is a “get along to get along” kind of politician. Finger in the wind. Whoever gets his ear, turns his feet. If America as a whole gets Mitt’s ear we would likely be safe from the worst. If it’s all Washington insiders, then Katy bar the door.
