Chris Christie’s Islam Problem
Mark Levin and National Review ^ | May 1, 2012 | Daniel Pipes & Steve Emerson

Posted on 05/04/2012 6:36:53 AM PDT by ZULU

A Quinnipiac poll in April showed Chris Christie as the most popular potential Republican vice-presidential candidate, thanks to his budget cuts and standing up to government employees’ unions. But the governor of New Jersey has a problem, specifically an Islam problem, that can and should get in the way of his possible ascent to higher office. Time and again he has sided with Islamist forces against those who worry about safeguarding American security and civilization.

He’ll find not such a warm welcoming when they have the numbers to overwhelm him...this is just a classic move that always comes back and bites the one who opens their door to Islam...

“Whatever his reasons, we conclude that Chris Christie lacks the moral compass and integrity needed to serve as vice president of the United States.”

I second that

NJ had a “Muslim problem” long before Christie was on the scene; some of the 9/11 hijackers were living here, and there were already scads of them in Jersey City, Paterson, etc.

I don’t think he’s VP material (simply because his solutions here in NJ addressed problems some states don’t even have), but he’s been the only thing keeping NJ affordable for middle-class Americans.

????????

Talk is cheap. So far my taxes haven’t gone down.

And I’ll be damned if I will anything good about a viper who is pro-Muslim and pretends to be a Christian.

Christie is a douche. He is completely establishment RNC, he supported Romney since day one, and came out hitting hard against Cain and Gingrich.

“Crispy Creme” Christie needs to stay in Joisey, where he can do less damage to America. Thankfully, I moved out of that liberal-hellhole place 24yrs ago.

He capped them at 2%, so mine don’t go up $500 - $600 annually anymore (this was what caused the recent layoffs); you should check to see exactly what parts of your tax bill has gone up - I’ll bet it is the school tax.

In my town the municipal tax (excluding education) was stabilized but the county tax kept increasing.

Have you lived in NJ long? We’ve been bled dry by our civil servants long enough - any layoffs at all were incredible, and there’s been thousands of them.

“He is completely establishment RNC”

He is anti-tax and pro-life, and has made all of the right enemies. He’s not perfect, but we could do a lot worse (like our last Republican, Christine Whitman).

I’ve been talking about this since last year. He supports the Ground Zero mosque, appointed a Muslim judge and more. Also, shame on Ann Coulter for ignoring these things in her CC infatuation. She used to be pretty tough on the Islamic threat, but since she fixated on CC, not a word.

Christie is a loud mouth dip. I think he would wear out his welcome pretty quickly in a national campaign.

I fact after 911 she wrote a column saying we should forcibly convert Muslims.

There is something very creepy going on with those two.

Chris Christie is no more a “conservative” than any other northeastern RINO. Granted that he has a Democrat dominated legislature to deal with, but he has shown no leadership whatsoever in reducing the size of state government, lowering nor eliminating any of our taxes (the highest in the country in some cases), getting the legislature to amend the state constitution to eliminate such abominations as Abbott Districts and the Mount Laurel decision and showing even the slightest Giuliani-like backbone in his attitude towards the Moslems. He has the attitude towards firearms that you would expect from a liberal ex-federal prosecutor in a liberal state and has done nothing to diminish the onerous requirements to purchase or own a pistol in New Jersey. On top of all that, he is a somewhat crude loudmouth who seems to take genuine delight in shouting down and/or humiliating those who disagree with him at his “town meetings”. On a personal level, I also know him to be a shameless liar. And this is the guy most Republicans think should be the Republican nominee for Vice President? Willard better have an ace research team to uncover the REAL Chris Christie or else he’ll end up with another Thomas Eagleton-like situation.

“...uncover the REAL Chris Christie...”

Far too many GOP-e types - you know whom specifically - are in the tank for that lib fatso; it’ll never happen until the demoncraps do it and then it’ll be another “Eagleton mess”, and too late.

Chris Christie goes berserk when criticised about appointing a Muslim judge:

“Sharia Law has nothing to do with this at all, it’s crazy!” he cried. “The guy is an American citizen!” He concluded that the “Sharia Law business is just crap… and I’m tried of dealing with the crazies,” adding with disgust and frustration that “it’s just unnecessary to be accusing this guy of things just because of his religious background.”

NO THANKS!
