Yes, the Health-Care Mandate Is About Liberty

Link only. Bloomberg probably got tired of having their pants pulled down over their shoddy shell-game logic by alert FReepers.

TOPICS: Business/Economy; Constitution/Conservatism; Government; News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: afca; healthinsurance; insurance; mandate
BloomingIdiots! They say "Of course government is involved in healthcare -- look at all the problems" when the reality is "Of course there are a lot of problems in health care and its financing, government's in it up to their elbows!"

See, liberals (generally not good at science, cause it helps to be smart) don't get that causes have to preceed effects, or are too ignorant of history to realize where the tax-exempt status of health insurance as compensation came from.

That status, a step to help Kaiser lure and retain workers (a band-aid for another case of goobermint economic meddling, in fact) spawned the health insurance business, the only business that think emulating the government is the right way to run a business. Collect your pay before you deliver anything, regulate the actions of your customer, then abuse them when it's time for you to fulfill your end of the bargain. Not saying insurers are uniformly bad, but when people complain about the service they're getting, it's invariably because the insurer is acting like the government, not because they're acting like free people running a free business in a free market, yet the free market gets blamed for the situation.

ANY mandate destroys our freedom to choose, it destroys our Liberty.

On November 4, 2008, Americans went to the polls to elect someone to lead for the next four years. A majority of those who voted said, via their votes, “O holy and great obama, we do not have the intelligence to get in out of the rain, let alone make decisions for ourselves. Pleaes make our decisions for us. Their wish/petition was granted.

Oh, you mean the Chicken Americans, people so stupid that when it rains they look up, intrigued and baffled, and drown as water runs in their noses.

Yep. Obama 1.) flunked kindergarden, 2.) never graduated from Harvard, and 3.) never passed the legal bar exam.

BTW, which is more important to the voters? The “it” emotional factor or actual accomplishments?

Absolutely! obama voters all. I hate them more than I do that sob, it is close like 1-2 but still they are in the lead a little. The reason they are first is because there has to be a first and without them, obama would onlybe another turd that is the sewer of Chicago.
