These CRIMINALS were employed by Strathmeyer Forests, Inc..

According to their website:
"A commitment to our community, and especially to its youth, is also a core value of The Strathmeyer Companies. Among the ways we strive to be responsible corporate citizens."

Maybe they should replace this wholesome corporate image on their website:

...with a more accurate image of their workforce:

After all, isn't that what "responsible corporate citizens" should do? FU Strathmeyer. I hope any FReepers in the York or Harrisburg, PA areas avoid using the services of this "75 year family business"/criminal enterprise.

Now now..let’s not jump to conclusions..perhaps there was a very good reason for them to make such haste from the wreckage..perhaps they forgot to register to vote..or collect unemployment..or get their own drivers license so that they could cause their own wrecks..We should not rush to judgment..

"...police confirm that the two are illegal immigrants."

Uh, oh... there's a couple of officers in trouble now for asking the immigration status of the perps.

True, but from the daily York Dispatch residents can learn from headlines that "Kim Kardashian wants divorce to move forward".

Starting to wonder if English is the first language of the person who wrote that opening sentence [fragment].

"Strathmeyer doesn’t have a magical formula for success or even survival in this economic climate. “Advice is cheap and easy to come by. Follow what is in your heart, do what is your passion and listen to the guy upstairs. He never seems to make a bad call,” advises Strathmeyer.

Strathmeyer Landscape Development is a family business that provides an example to other companies who want to continue to provide beautiful landscapes." (LINK)

Who is the "guy upstairs" for Mr. Strathmeyer? Felipe Calderón?

Some of my best childhood memories are of shopping in and around York. But since about ‘99 I have driven twenty miles out of my way to bypass it. It’s a craphole on par with Baltimore, now.

“Strathmeyer Christmas trees—a fam-i-ly tradition” (that’s their November-December radio jingle) has been employing Mexicans for AT LEAST the last decade. Immigration status? Who knows?

No amount of spin can erase the injuries nor the terror that some of the local residents were feeling when the men bailed.

The female driver of the car was taken to York Hospital after being extricated from her vehicle.

Who cares if this lady had to be cut from her car and rushed to the hospital...As long as the greedy bastards running Strathmeyer Forests Inc., get their low wage illegal labor.

“They say there is no threat to the community.”

Bet the woman sent to the hospital would disagree.

Lets give Pennsylvania to Mexico.

Sanctuary states seem to WANT to be part of Mexico. Other states are inundated due to proximity to Mexico and the feds placate the lawbreakers.

Texas charges two over immigrants

Snip: It follows the discovery of 115 people locked inside three small houses close to the border with Mexico.

The latest data available from 2009 show that in Texas 61 percent of households with children (under 18) headed by an immigrant (legal and illegal) used at least one welfare program, compared to 42 percent for native households with children in the state.

The overall use rate for welfare by Texas immigrant households with children (61 percent), is one of the highest in the nation.

In Texas, immigrant households with children tend to use food assistance programs and Medicaid at much higher rates than native households with children. Use of cash and housing programs tends to be similar to natives.

The Center for Immigration Studies estimates that in Texas, 54 percent of households with children headed by legal immigrants used at least one welfare program, compared to 70 percent for illegal immigrant households with children. Illegal immigrants generally receive benefits on behalf of their U.S.-born children.
