At least one man is in custody after a violent sexual assault that happened during a home invasion.
Three men were inside a home on Orr Street when four armed men forced their way inside.
The intruders taped the victims' mouths, noses, and eyes. Their wrists and ankles were bound with plastic ties.
One of the victims was taken to one room, while the other two were taken to another. According to a police affidavit, they were beaten with a baseball bat and broom handle. All three of the men were sodomized and sexually assaulted with the weapons. The incident lasted for nearly nine hours.
After the assaults, the four suspects left.
Cornelius Banks is under arrested and is charged with multiple counts of aggravated burglary, aggravated rape, aggravated sexual battery, especially aggravated kidnapping, especially aggravated robbery, and carrying a firearm with the intent of committing a felony.

OK, if I’m deciphering this whole sordid thing correctly, there was nothing sexual about this, for Banks and Samples. Their victims were bound and beaten with baseball bats, then sodomized with a broom handle, among other things.
This implies that the two really disliked the three individuals, who are likely to be homosexuals. The one who was singled out and placed into a room by himself seems to have been a particular object of anger and violence.
This leads me to speculate that there is a young male that was molested, somewhere, by at least the one victim who was brutalized separately.
Street justice. Banks at least has the distinct appearance of having done time before, and is not the most stable looking person, those crazy hand drawn tats are always a warning. The chubby one, Samples, he doesn’t seem hardened at all.
My read is that drugs and money were involved. Victims are black like the perps and the sexual molestation rape w the broom handles??? That’s done so the “victims” in this deal gone bad are too embarrassed (humiliated) to show themselves in town anymore. IOW even without these moron’s arrests word was out in the streets that X, Y and Z are punks who got raped w broom handles meaning X Y and Z have huge loss of status in the ghetto pecking order (such as it is) And women will laugh in their faces

Could be. They could have easily killed the three but didn’t. Given the behavior I doubt it was pangs of conscience, they wanted them around to tell the tale. I still think there was something about the three, in the minds of their attackers, that warranted the specific abuse they received.

I have bought some Orvis spreader load shells for my wife's 20 gauge though. Just point the thing north, south, east, or west, and the pattern at ten yards hits everything within a 60 degree swath. At 50 feet the load is pretty harmless due to the loss of energy from a tumbling chaotic dispersal at the end of the barrel. It's like shooting 300 little steel hockey pucks out of a shotgun. Perfect weapon of choice for close quarter urban defense. You don't need to concern yourself so much with what's behind what you may need to shoot at.
If they were really good citizens they would give the perps a half hour to get away before calling the cops.
Be my luck to wind up in the room with the baseball bat...
