“In a second term,” Mitt Romney darkly warned in a speech to the National Rifle Association last month, President Obama “would be unrestrained by the demands of reelection.”
But Romney was cagey about what, exactly, that would mean: His only specific prediction was that Obama would “remake” the Supreme Court. So it was helpful when, at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner a week ago, the president opened up about the “secret agenda” he has planned. “In my first term,” he joked, “we ended the war in Iraq; in my second term, I will win the war on Christmas. . . . In my first term, we passed health-care reform; in my second term, I guess I’ll pass it again.”
In other speeches, Obama has offered a more serious preview of what he’d like to get done if he’s reelected. On March 30, he listed second-term priorities including reforming the immigration system; remaking the nation’s energy policy so it addresses “the long-term challenges. . . . of energy independence and climate change”; doing more to ensure that “people who don’t have work can find work” and that “our housing system is working for everybody”; pushing forward on education reform; and executing an “effective transition out of Afghanistan.”
But that’s not really a list of what Obama would do in his second term. It’s a list of what he would like to do.

Reminds me of the apocryphal question FDR asked of his secretary as he considered Einstein’s letter advising him of the potential of an atom bomb, “If Hitler had a bomb that could destroy entire cities what would he do?” She answered “He’d use it”. And how, exactly, would a GOP-controlled house and senate restrain Obie’s use of Executive Orders, USSC and other judge appointments and nominaitons and foreign treaties to continue with his destruction of the USA? Perhaps by calling for his impeachment. But other than that, we’d still be royally screwed.
If the Lord God lets Obama get reelected then there is no Lord God! There is NOTHING any one can say or write that can convince me other wise.

The Lord God is Ruler of the Universe. Whether Obama, or anyone else thinks that is irrelevant. He just is, as everyone is about to find out. He IS, and he RULES in the affairs of men and the Universe. - I think Obama is a judgement of God on this country, and the world, Obama, Biden, Reid, Pelosi, Clintons and all their minions. My conscience is clear. I have no intent of facing my maker with excuses about the lesser evil.
Its something I gave a lot of thought to many months ago and I have to put my own soul first because there is no collective salvation and I can’t save America by myself.
One of the few things I’m sure of is that I’ll never feel guilty about not voting for Romney.
If your concience leads you to that conclusion, than use your intelligence, seek good guidance, and do what you need to do. I don’t condemn you for reaching a different conclusion that I do.

Here’s my dilemma.
If Romney is but Obama lite and he clearly is, and if Romney has the presidency and add to that his GOPE kingmakers behind him to push the very same things they objected to and stopped without a single vote, but will eagerly pass under Romney, then what have I prevented?
The GOPE purposely killed the Republican Party this year. They are expecting us to support that killing, by working us over with another force feed, of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”— certain that we will swallow whatever they dish up. We always have before, and we will again, and we always will, until we STOP.
I stopped.
It will not be of the Lord’s doing, but of the people’s. Thinking Sodom and Gomorrah here, the creation and worshipping of Baal, and the possible results that would go along with it for years of punishment and depravity until we are ready to come back.
I’m sure all those who insist that a candidate be a perfect conservative before getting their vote, have spouses that look just like Marilyn Monroe or Cary Grant (or the modern day equivalent of them). Of course, they are themselves perfect in every way. They also have the perfect car, perfect house, perfect children, and the perfect job.
They care for nothing or no one but themselves and their bubble of perfection.

My conscience is clear. I've been warning you, and many others, for a very long time about what was happening in the Republican Party.
But don't kid yourself, the catastrophe is already upon you. And it has little to do with Barack Obama. It's the fruit of the compromise of a whole generation of Americans...including, and perhaps especially, a whole generation of Americans who call themselves "conservative."
