Obama's Second Term Transformation Plans
American Thinker ^ | May 8, 2012 | Steve McCann

The 2012 election has often been described as the most pivotal since 1860. This statement is not hyperbole. If Barack Obama is re-elected the United States will never be the same, nor will it be able to re-capture its once lofty status as the most dominant nation in the history of mankind.

The overwhelming majority of Americans do not understand that Obama's first term was dedicated to putting in place executive power to enable him and the administration to fulfill the campaign promise of "transforming America" in his second term regardless of which political party controls Congress. That is why his re-election team is virtually ignoring the plight of incumbent or prospective Democratic Party office holders.

The most significant accomplishment of Obama's first term is to make Congress irrelevant. Under the myopic and blindly loyal leadership of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, the Democrats have succeeded in creating an imperial and, in a second term, a potential dictatorial presidency.

During the first two years of the Obama administration when the Democrats overwhelming controlled both Houses of Congress and the media was in an Obama worshipping stupor, a myriad of laws were passed and actions taken which transferred virtually unlimited power to the executive branch.

The birth of multi-thousand page laws was not an aberration. This tactic was adopted so the bureaucracy controlled by Obama appointees would have sole discretion in interpreting vaguely written laws and enforcing thousands of pages of regulations they and not Congress would subsequently write.

For example, in the 2,700 pages of ObamaCare there are more than 2,500 references to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. There are more than 700 instances when he or she is instructed that they "shall" do something and more than 200 times when they "may" take at their sole ...

You will do as you are told!

The law will be only what the regulators (not judges) say it is.

God save us, please.

I didn't click to the article, I got the message in these few sentences.

Very succinct description/explanation for our frustration with the zero class.

All power was usurped from our American political structure and given to power brokers intent on killing us as Americans ... and in body if need be.

It may be time, for so many, to stop paying so much, attention to pointing out Romney’s imperfections. Over and over, it’s becoming monotonous.

Romney may not hold strong conservative beliefs. Or he may indeed, and may have been hiding them while governor of MA, simply because so many of the state’s voters are party-line democrats. Either way, at worst Romney is somewhat squishy. At best, he has insulated himself quite effectively, to being easily typecast by the lackey Obama media.

By contrast there’s no question Obama *does* hold strong communist beliefs. Surrounds himself with committed communists - and is beholden to America’s adversaries.

None of which. NONE. Apply to Mitt Romney.

Focus people. Please.

The election is just 180 days away.

If BO loses, the most dangerous time for the nation will be the lame duck session of Congress between the election and the inauguration of Romney. BO will ram through a raft of executive orders to move socialism forward, just as his campaign slogan says.

Is the cowardly GOP up to standing in his way and filing impeachment charges at that point? Unless it finds a patriot in the leadership somewhere, the answer is “no.”

Elections have consequences. And now, they will be irrelavnt to the federal oligarchy, because the American votes will be counted by a company based in Spain and run by a known Obama funder. It was a glorious 200 plus years, but the democrats have managed to end it. The time for a guillotine solution is already past.

This can easily be removed by Romney the first day by rescinding ALL of Obama’s executive orders. As a matter of fact: That is exactly what Gingrich proposed he would do between the inauguration and the evening events. Romney should publicly state the same objectives.

He should also put Obama on notice that any extra Constitutional orders after a loss at the polls wpould result in a complete investigation and prosecution of every action and inaction he took while in office. This would inevitably lead to a jail cell and personal bankruptcy for himself and for his entire set of top administrators.

He wants to act like a third World dictator he will be treated as such.

If he does all semblance of decorum will be gone and he will get unceremoniously frog marched out of the White House. You will get sedition, treason and criminal charge talk coming from certain people

Thank you for saying it much better than I can.

Even ‘not voting’ is unacceptable when the nation we love is in danger of complete destruction.

Those who look forward to seeing FLOTUS dancing in the halls and ballrooms of OUR White House, barefoot in $5000 gowns paid for by we the taxpayers, while her husband makes public appearances where he is cheered by the masses (under orders), and his fellow socialist/marxists work diligently to strip us of our remaining freedoms -

Then vote third party, write-in, or stay home.

And God help the rest of us who will pay the price for your search for the perfect candidate.

The most significant accomplishment of Obama's first term is to make Congress irrelevant. Under the myopic and blindly loyal leadership of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, the Democrats have succeeded in creating an imperial and, in a second term, a potential dictatorial presidency.

Many Republicans and conservatives dissatisfied with the prospect of Mitt Romney as the nominee for president are instead focused on re-taking the House and Senate. That goal, while worthy and necessary, is meaningless unless Barack Obama is defeated.

The missing part of this article is the realization that socialist leaders do not historically rely upon democratic methods to gain or retain power, rather, they disdain the people who they rule, in many cases deeming the people 'not worthy' of their enlightened leadership (think of recent comments by FLOTUS here). Lenin, Hitler, Mao, Castro, and Obama's other role models did not achieve ultimate victory through consent of the people, but (as Mao put it) 'through the barrel of a gun'.

While Romney is also a godless socialist, he doesn't see himself as the next VI Lenin. Hence Romney is NOT equal to Obama.

Open Mic Catches Obama Asking Medvedev for Space on Missile Defense
March 26, 2012

"In a private conversation about the planned U.S.-led NATO missile defense system in Europe, President Barack Obama asked outgoing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev for space on the issue.

This is my last election,” Obama told Medvedev. “After my election I have more flexibility.”

“I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir,” Medvedev said, referring to incoming President Vladimir Putin."

__________________________________________________

Obama was talking with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev when neither of them realized that their conversation was being picked up by microphones. Here is what they said:

Obama: “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved, but it’s important for him to give me space.”

Medvedev: “Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you ...”

Obama: “This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility.”

Medvedev: “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.”

“This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.” That statement tells us much about the president’s mindset.

The specific mention of missile defense is worrisome enough. Mr. Obama has retreated from the missile defense plan that was negotiated with European allies during the George W. Bush administration. Apparently, he is signaling Moscow that he intends to retreat further. The clear implication from the president’s comments is that he cannot tell the American people before the election what he plans to do after the election.

In addition, there is the phrase “on all these issues,” implying more is at stake than just missile defense.”

I would crawl across broken glass to vote against Obama!

This is a simple decision, since WHO COULD POSSIBLY BE WORSE THAN OBAMA? So, voting for Romney isn’t thrilling, but he’ll get my vote.

I pray that Romney will pick a solid conservative running mate that will energize the campaign. At least then, I would feel like my vote was also helping set up a conservative frontrunner in 4 or 8 years...
