VIRGINIA RACE MOB ATTACK: Fox's Watters Enters Projects, Confronts Editor

Last week THE FACTOR reported on a bias assault in Norfolk that left two newspaper reporters injured. Shortly after 11:00 p.m. on April 14th, 26 year-old Marjon Rostami and 31-year-old David Forster were coming home from the theater when someone threw a rock at their vehicle. Mr. Forster got out to affront the assailant and was set upon by approximately five African-American young men who beat him. The thugs then attacked Ms. Rostami as a crowd of about 30 surrounded the vehicle and witnessed the assault. Hysterical, Miss Rostami called 911 and the police arrived. The initial police report described the assault as a bias crime and a 16-year-old has been arrested. But now, the Norfolk police say it was not a bias crime and are refusing to release the 911 tape saying that would hurt their investigation. How? How could that be possible?

Thanks Jesse, I live in Norfolk and was out of town when the story broke on Drudge. I am not surprised aobut the way this was handled, thanks for coming down and doing real journalism work.

I travel that corner sometimes, never that late at night. But it is like most other inner-city areas, dangerous at times.

Never get out of the car, always travel with protection and I guess now, stop patronizing the Attucks theater or any other businesses in these dangerous areas.

Sad, but that is hte natire of the beast.

Now back in the olden days of 80 years ago, if something like this happened, a part of the city would burn down, and (comment removed before the mods see it), but then it would be safe to walk the streets for years.

Who the heck does Fox pay to edit their copy? While I’m sure the thug who threw the rock was affronted by the victim actually getting out of his car to object, the purpose was to CONFRONT him!

And now the story is down to five on two; before it was as many as 30, with about 100 more cheering! And the media wonders why we don’t believe them!

Sure glad this is being covered. He should be covering all the Black racist attacks to make sure they are being handled correctly.

Saw an interview with Finley on a local TV station and behind his head on the wall were two framed Pilot front pages with Obama featured prominently. Maurice Jones officially joined the Obama administration (as deputy HUD secretary) on April 16th, so he was still technically publisher of the Pilot on April 14th (the date of the mob attack).

I'm sure Jones' appointment couldn't have had anything to do with the Pilot's rabid pro-abortion, pro-gay, anti-gun, pro-Obama, pro-tax-the-hell-out-of-anyone-with-a-job stances (/sarcasm).
