Gov. Christie's approval rate highest ever amongst N.J. residents

TRENTON — Fifty-six percent of New Jersey voters approve of Gov. Chris Christie, according to a Fairleigh Dickinson University PublicMind poll this morning. That’s Christie's highest ever rating in a Fairleigh Dickinson poll.

“It’s hard to imagine that a minority party governor could really do much better,” said poll director Peter Woolley. “Unless maybe he runs into a burning building and rescues an old lady. But that trick has been taken.”

Thirty-three percent of voters disapprove of Christie. The poll also found 50 percent of voters think the state is headed in the right direction, while 41 percent say it’s in the wrong direction — a statistically insignificant change from the last time Fairleigh Dickinson asked the question in March.

“Two surveys in a row, it’s not a fluke,” said Woolley.

Christie goes berserk after being criticized for appointing muzzie judge:

“Sharia Law has nothing to do with this at all, it’s crazy!” he cried. “The guy is an American citizen!” He concluded that the “Sharia Law business is just crap… and I’m tried of dealing with the crazies,” adding with disgust and frustration that “it’s just unnecessary to be accusing this guy of things just because of his religious background.”

So what’s your POINT, Seek and Find???

I LIVE in New Jersey. Christie has done a great job of TRYING to cut government spending and waste. Compared to every governor going back to Robert Meyner, he’s great! But I’m talking NEW JERSEY here - NOT AMERICA!!!!

Do I Want him in the WHITE HOUSE????? Seriously, any conservative who says they do, either doesn’t understand Chris Christie or isn’t really a conservative.

Christie is a fiscal conservative - for New Jersey. Socially, he’s just another anti-Second Amendment, pro-Islamic, pro-Cap and Trade, pro-ObamaPlan, pro-illegal alien LIBERAL!!!! One with a big mouth and a BAD ATTITUDE!!

And if Mitt Romney picks him as his running mate, he just lost ONE conservative voter - FROM NEW JERSEY and my guess is, A HECK OF A LOT MORE in the South, Mid-West and West.

I guess Christie REALLY has his surrogates working OVERTIME for him on this one.

That’s because, like Christie, you have no idea what you’re talking about:

The questions about Governor Christie’s appointment of Sohail Mohammed and his exertions on behalf of Mohammed’s client, Mohammed Qatanani, have nothing to do with either sharia or the all-purpose smear of Islamophobia. They are about the governor’s judgment. They are about a U.S. attorney with political ambitions pandering to a politically active constituency at the expense of national security and enforcement of the immigration laws. They are about his decision to award a state judgeship to an attorney who was an active and vocal board member of a very troubling Islamist organization — and who has a penchant for presuming that perfectly valid anti-terror prosecutions are, instead, anti-Muslim persecutions.

Those questions are not answered by bluster.

I should have clarified I meant I agreed with him in general....if there is evidence a particular Muslim is a radical, then that would be an issue of course.

Good for NJ.

As long as they slowly turn around and eventually become a red state.
