Conservative candidate in VA-11, Ken Vaughn, needs your support

NoVa freepers in Virginia's 11th congressional district - you have a choice to restore VA-11 to common sense conservative leadership.

Ken Vaughn is a small business owner who is working to unseat Gerry Connelly. Ken's number one priority is the debt and spending. He is pro-life and pro-second amendment.

We need your help. We need folks to help knock on doors, make phone calls - you name it and we can use your help. We can use financial support as well since we all know that money is essential to running any campaign. We need your vote on June 12th. And last, but not least, we need your prayers. Ken and his wife embarked on this journey after much prayerful consideration. We continue to seek God's guidance as we approach primary day.

Please check out his website: www.vaughnforcongress.com

I’m not sure what this has to do with my post since I’m talking about a Congressional race here.

Speaking for myself only - Mitt is not my first choice. However, I have 2 concerns going into November. One is who’s going to be making the next nominations for SCOTUS. Two, is getting good people elected to Congress. Therefore, I will vote for Mitt and work to put people in Congress who will keep Mitt on the straight-and-narrow.

Here's what it's about ~ although all candidates are going to technically "support the ticket" I don't do Romney stuff and typical in these campaigns the Congressional guy ends up with a bunch of up ticket propaganda to pass around as well.

I read through the website (sent you a note on one issue) and pretty well get the idea this guy is a Conservative ~ maybe even the guy who adjusts the traffic light systems (eh, that's cute ~ a hard job but somebody's got todo it). But he's not yet tested ~ so he needs smoothed a bit. He has about half the top end bureaucrats in the US Government right here in this one district. He needs to insert his message in such a way that, lo and behold, they say "I want that guy representing my professional interests".

Then maybe he can get through the primary.

NOW is the time for all to work to get good conservative candidates like this on the ballot intheir district.
It doesn’t take a lot. Small monies and time make a big difference NOW.

After the party primaries it’s too late- we’re stuck with the ‘Mini-Romney’ ‘moderate’ the party wants to run...

Good luck to your candidate, he sounds great.

Thanks! I think he’s great - but then I’m biased. :)
