If the media actually analyzed anything, this would demonstrate not Obama's courage; but his intellectual inadequacy; not his tolerance, but his sheepish devotion to the fad values of the compulsion driven neurotics who drive Leftist movements.
Anyone who understands the multi-generational nature of human development--indeed of all continuing life on the earth;--anyone who understands the concept of the family; of the relation of the family to the community; of the community to the tribe, nation, race or what have you--in short how civilizations develop & take form & substance; will understand that "same sex marriage" is an oxymoron--an absolute mockery of the sanctification of procreational family development.
Those of us who do not want to remain with Alice down the Rabbit hole need to start to do a better job of framing social issues. There is a consistent thread in what the Left offers, from this idiocy to passing on horrendous deficits & debased currency to our posterity, to trashing our heritage in almost every way imaginable. But we are not doing much of a job of explaining that thread of conceptual nihilism to the unwary being manipulated all around us, who parrot what in any other age would have been only satirized.
