For fifty years we have taught kids that they have to rise above traditional conceptions of right and wrong, that they personally should judge whats right situation-by-situation, that the law is ‘oppressive’ if they don’t agree with it, that each of us is the final standard on what’s right for us, and that what’s right for me may not be right for you.

Now our new ‘morality’ has borne fruit, for if you follow these instructions inexorably to their logical end, you reach the conclusion:

What I want to do is right, and you are wrong if you oppose me.

UC did sorta promise that the Gil tract would remain agricultural. Now they are going back on that.
IMHO developments, buildings and parking lots should not be placed on land suitable for agricultural purposes.

Plus one of the protesters is my niece and while she tends toward being a left wing flake I tend to agree with her on this. I would have preferred a lawsuit instead of planting a garden but what is is.
