WaPo slammed for Romney "hit piece"

Matt Lewis at dailycaller.com: "A question emerges in reading the Washington Post piece on Mitt Romney today: How can Romney's old pal Stu White tell the Washington Post that he has 'long been bothered by the Lauber incident' - and then later admit to ABC News that he was 'not present for the prank' and 'was not aware of it until this year when he was contacted by the Washington Post'?" More questions about the story have been raised at weeklystandard.com. This morning, WMAL's morning show came to the conclusion that the article about the GOP's presumptive presidential nominee bullying other students in his prep school days in the mid-1960s was a "hit piece".....

Hughes is a lefty as I understand it, but here goes. Earlier he wrote: "WaPo Doesn't Run Romney Story In Print Edition - 5/10 - The Washington Post did not publish in its Thursday print edition a story about Mitt Romney's prep school days, with an account that included disturbing recollections from former classmates about the presumptive Republican presidential nominee's behavior toward two students perceived to be gay. Instead, Post print subscribers were greeted Thursday by a piece touting President Obama's newly stated support for marriage equality. Michael Calderone at huffingtonpost.com tells us that Post editors were concerned about placing the Romney story on the front page alongside pieces about Obama voicing his support for same-sex marriage. Even though the Romney article appeared only on the Post's website, some critics saw the timing of the story as evidence of media bias, suggesting that the motive had to do with making Romney look intolerant just as Obama had voiced his support for same-sex marriage....."

If Romney REALLY were a bully (like Obama is) then he would get the support of the bullies in ACORN, SEIU, OWS and the New Black Panthers.

If Romney ever did something like cutting a guys hair he would have been thrown out of Cranbrook.

The place is really intolerant of bad behavior.

Back when Romney attended it cost about $12,000 per year.

Does anyone know what Obama’s private school in Hawaii cost per year?”””

Certainly is strange how the media can find this alledged incident from 50 years ago- just about when Barry was “Born”, but they cannot get one sliver of info about Barry’s upbringing- schools-grades-contributions to Harvard- his records from being a Senator from Illinois- his girlfriends- his other associates, including his Pakistani drug dealer room mate in NYC.

Such investigative skills!!!

Since the media so readily accepted a ‘birth certificate’ from Barry which named a hospital which didn’t even exist when he was born in 1961, their investigative skills’ are very suspect.

The worst part of this whole hit piece to me is that the alledged subject of this ‘prank’ has been dead for over 7 years and cannot tell us his side of the story!!!

What’s next?

Interviews with the great-grandchildren of the person who delivered the Romney mail in Michigan???

That should be ever so accurate & informative!!!!

The Democrats & Barry are more disgusting each and every day.

I kinda agree. Private schools have pretty stringent rules and it only takes a medium-sized infraction (even in the 1960s) to get a kid kicked out.

Course, cutting a kid’s hair in the 1960s....didn’t really amount to much.

The Axelrod stench is all over this. One of the idiots said maybe the teen didn’t tell his family. I think they just might have noticed if he came home with his hair suddenly cut off. I’m waiting for them to tell us how many grasshoppers Romney pulled the legs off of when he was 3. Or horror of horrors!! He probably stepped on every single crack to break his mother’s back.

At least they can’t accuse him of shipping the Churchill bust back to the British! Or bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia. Or adding 5 trillion to our national debt. Or...

Of course. Obama and his minions have done more to promote racism and to keep any people of color under their boots with promises of giving them anything and everything they want—someday they will have it all.
