Both Cropper and Dunn were in the "Blues Brothers" movies. Dunn's got one of the best lines in the first movie: "If the S@#t fits, wear it!"

Oh No! I am really saddened by this. Duck Dunn was a favorite of mine. He was responsible for the bass line in “Midnight Hour” and was one of the Original Blues Brothers.
As a Bass Player, I patterned a lo9t of my riffs after Duck Dunn. He had a great style and is an icon among Bass players.
RIP, Brother.

He and Cropper and the rest achieved greatness by practicing restraint - a concept that is all but dead in today’s music.
This is not an oldies fan grumping about the whippersnappers; this is a musician who has seen styles come and go and knows what endures.
