Jarrett reportedly hatched the idea of Obama flying to Copenhagen to “make a dramatic presentation to the International Olympic Committee” for Chicago’s Olympic bid — and also encouraged Obama’s visit to “the Bay area solar company Solyndra” — despite the protestations of Lawrence Summers (who in 2009 warned against the loan guarantee) and others.
Klein implies Jarrett’s pro-Solyndra position was a result of her “Chicago connections” and --
especially her close ties to the George Kaiser Family Foundation, which controlled 35.7 percent of Solyndra. The foundation had made a sizable donation to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where Jarrett once served as chairwoman and where one of Obama’s best friends, Eric Whitaker, is currently executive vice president. Billionaire George Kaiser, one of Obama’s top 2008 campaign fundraising bundlers, visited the White House no fewer than sixteen times, and Jarrett herself met at least three times with Solyndra lobbyists, who pushed for government assistance.

The coverage of Valerie Jarrett’s influence has been something out of Orwell - the MSM has simply whited her out of the coverage of this Administration, even though the Iranian-born Jarrett probably has more to do with the Administration’s policy than our lazy golf-playing “President”. This woman is BAD news for those of us who love the USA.
I consider myself fairly well informed and I had no idea she was Iranian born.

I suspect there are a lot of folks out there that know a WHOLE lot of things about the One that have kept their mouths shut up to this point. However, the blood is in the water now.
Expect a great deal more “vetting” of the Obozo during the next few months.
I will make a prediction: I don’t think Obozo will be the Democratic candidate on the ballot come Novmember.

A completely misleading remark; I have a cousin who is “Japanese born” because my uncle was stationed there; after the age of three months, my 100% Caucasion American cousin left Japan with his family and never saw it again. Valerie Jarret is a black American whose father was working in Iran for a short time. She was born there, a happenstance. No connection to Persian history or ethnicity.
