The cuts were bleeding--obviously, being cuts. Since they were bleeding there was no reason for blood to be trapped under the skin around the wounds. Hence no "bruising."

Zimmerman is not a real Black. He is a White-Black, emphasis on White.. All Black Zimmerman...no story. Partially Black Zimmerman means WHITE!!!!!, murdering bigot. In this case, the one drop rule does not apply. (smirk)

Do you have a link on that? I couldn’t find it in a transcript.

I think CNN has the only transcript, and Lester’s question isn’t in it because it occurred during a commercial break. Here’s CNN legal analyst Mark Nejame’s on-air reaction immediately afterward:

“And then the judge - right to the heart of it — asked about the stippling of the gun and how close and about the gun shot. Well, what does that show? It shows that there was not a shooting at a distance, but that there was apparently mutual combat where the two of them were engaged within immediate proximity to each other, which suggests that one really doesn’t know what happened because it wasn’t from a distance which would show a depraved mind, but, in fact, right there during regional combat.”

Also, I saw/heard Judge Lester directly ask Det. Gilbreath how close the two were when the gun fired, because I was switching back and forth from CNN to HLN when each would break for a commercial. I was astonished to find the exchange was missing in the transcript later, and know now CNN “transcripts” contain huge gaps.

Just damn, and that doesn’t surprise me. Our presstitutes will be the death of us all.

Lefties are now making a big deal about the coroner saying St. Trayvon was shot at “intermediate range”, as if Zimmerman was at a distance such that he could have broken off the engagement. Then when you do 5 minutes of research, you find that “intermediate” in forensic terms basically means just beyond contact, 1’-3’ range, such that the target ends up with burnt propellant around the wound.

Here’s my post about “intermediate range” in another thread on the subject, including a link to a forensics site and definition of the term.

Is it a BSA hoodie, Scout?

One's an Australian Scouts hoodie, mate. The others were presents from my children, Ichi, Ni, and San and feature the names of two of the schools from which I matriculated.

The Aussie one makes me feel equally as tough as the Texas one.

But are you really still blaming Zimmerman? Wow.

Wrong poster, Miss M. I've never blamed Zimmerman. Sorry for the confusion.

That was for all of the people saying he was profiled for wearing a hoodie. He didn't even have the hood up.

Oh, sorry, I misread it. But actually I do think he was profiled for wearing a hoodie. Here in the urban jungle of NYC, we associate the wearing of hoodies with criminality (as do the police). To more rural and suburban people, it’s just a sweatshirt with a hood.

It was raining. It wouldn’t look suspicious to anyone to see someone wearing a hood in the rain. What would look suspicious is seeing a guy meandering around the streets and walking between buildings in the rain.

That’s not profiling.

Unless you're wearing it when it's 80 degrees outside.

“It certainly can’t hurt Z’s case if the wound was located on Martin’s left side and the wound was contact or close to contact.”

It was. Bullet entered Traytable’s left side, into the left ventricle of his heart. There was no exit wound.

He was shot at very close (intermediate) range.

If we want to believe DeeDee was on the phone with Trayvon (and the records indicate she was on the phone close to that time), he was walking under the overhangs to stay out of the rain. Those overhands are about 18" according to Hal Uhrig, Zimmerman's first attorney. That's slinking along the back windows of a building as much as meandering (Zimmerman said walking in circles).

Awesome graphic!

It’s the Duke La Cross class war all over again.

It will be interesting to see if Holder actually files hate crime charges against Zimmerman given the now public evidence.
