Police and Yassam officers equipped with a backhoe arrived on Wednesday night at the community of Ramat Migron in Binyamin, the Tazpit news agency reported.

Awful. I wonder why they chose to do this now, and what the implications are (if any) for Ulpana.
I don’t know anything about when Ramat Migron was established, and how big it is. Do you know background on this community?
Actually, I believe that the Police and Yassam are not IDF.
It was established decades ago with active government encouragement, but an Arab one day made a claim of ownership to Begatz (SCOI), and without investigation or evidence, they granted judgment in favor of the Arab, who withdrew his claim when asked for proof of his ownership. But because it wasn’t part of the National Jewish Fund, Judge Beinish decreed that it is privately-owned Arab land, notwithstanding the lack of an identifiable owner, and Migron was ordered demolished. National Jewish Fund lands were a posthumous grant of properties that the Baron Edmond Benjamin de Rotschilde purchased, and are located not only in Israel, but also in Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. So those in Judah and Samaria were re-settled by Jews after 1967, but Migron wasn’t a part of the NJF.
Details.
Here’s film from the demolition force’s last visit:

Notice how many of them came with their ID badges concealed.
And here’s a bit of unabashed right wing propaganda about the place:

Can you think of any other government in the world that is regularly engaged in demolishing (Jewish) families’ homes? This is so disgusting and repulsive that we have (regrettably) ceased supporting Bibi’s administrsation over there (tho we like a lot about him). We are also finding other ways of supporting Israel.
Who are they trying to appease this time?
The usual. Obama.
Why is this happening?
See your own signature line.
Call off the dogs, they are still just talking backhoe... /s
Breaking news? Perhaps in some core democrat communities on the east coast.
Perhaps not as "nice" as other settlements, but still home to a number of families whose crime is to believe that God gave that land to the descendants of Isaac (not Ishmael).
This outpost has been destroyed before, hasn't it Eleutheria5? All I can say is that the fools in Jerusalem are as isolated from the regular people as the ones in Washington DC. I'm in prayer for the residents of Ramat Migron.
Police on Wednesday night demolished two structures in West Bank outpost of Ramat Migron that were built illegally without the proper permits.
Israel Police establishes new West Bank settlement demolition task force.
Move to create the task force comes in light of the high number of outpost and settlement demolitions expected to take place by the end of 2012.
How long, oh Lord, before you get justice for Your people?
PMO statement says approval would allow for evacuation of illegal West Bank outpost by July 15; Israel set to spend NIS 25 million on the housing.

The truth is, they are going to evacuate Migron by 7/15. Once the people are moved and the houses destroyed, what's to make the government fulfill any promises? I mean, look at the evacuees from Gaza!
Something else that does not make any sense, they are going to build the temporary housing in Kokhav Ya'akov. That's just on the "next" hill according to the video in post #6. What is the difference between Kokhav Ya'akov and Ramat Migron? No Palestinian has decided to claim ownership of that land yet? That's it?
I am aware of Migron, but this was Ramat Migron that was destroyed today.
I am as opposed to the destruction of one as I am of the other, but I was wondering about the history of this smaller, satellite community.
I thought they were talking about Migron, until I saw the video of last year’s destruction and noticed the word “Remat”. Those houses were plywood shacks, while Migron is comprised of solidly built homes. My mistake. Anyway, this is prelude to further destruction. I grieve no less for the plywood shacks of Remat Migron.
