This was filmed in Elgin, Illinois about 40 miles from Chicago. I assume it's for the NATO summit this week as a security measure.

I live somewhere in the 6 County Chicago metro area. Today I saw CH-47 Chinook flybys. Twice. Never seen them before in this area. Not even during 9-11.

I plan to hunker down . . .

Ummmmm, maybe because some drones are barely audible and take live, detailed video, have all kinds of eavesdropping equipment and can be transformed to weapons of war in mere minutes?

Why is it magically worse if it’s unmanned, instead of a police helicopter or a military Blackhawk? People and their perceptions are strange.

Because police/government could put up 20x the amount of inexpensive surveillance drones.
