Unfortunately for CNN, “Piers Morgan Tonight” was the apparent victim of the busy night, drawing only 39,000 viewers 25-54 at 9 PM. To say those ratings are anomalous would be something of an understatement. That is the lowest 9 PM weekday demo rating for CNN since at least 1997.

Any update on Fox?
After posting a comment on the article about the AP report on housing starts, this fact is quite pleasing. Maybe something is happening in this country to get her turned around and stop listening to distorted nonsense. I only wish the same blessing on Rachel Maddow. What a total fool. Then comes Chris Matthews, David Letterman, etc, etc.

My GF’s friends (all libs) asked me once to switch to Piers Morgan and I understand why only 39,000 brain-dead zombies watch him: he’s insufferable. Pretty much a limey version of Charlie Rose, whom no one can stand except for libtards.
I may get flamed as xenophobic, but, I have wondered what’s with Piers Morgan, a foreigner, lecturing us about what’s going on in America, and feeding us liberal observations about same.

I think the last time I saw CNN was in a US airport in 2004, haha.

No ones going to flame you FRiend. Piers is one of a bunch of Brits who have the good sense and the where-with-all to get out of the rapidly sinking ship that was once Great Britain. I’m with you, I can’t stand foreigners like him who flee here from what ever socialist crap-hole they ran from and then start telling us what the deal is.

I’m still amazed at how many places still show CNN news stuff on TV. Fortunately, they usually have the sound off.
What we are saying here....is that everyone from the city of Burlington, Vermont took an hour off and watched Piers. For what they pay the guy....I’m guessing that management is sitting there and trying to figure out how to get out of this arrangement. You can’t be charging that much for advertising time on his show...or for any of CNN’s evening pieces. I doubt if anyone has gotten a pay raise in three years.

Their’s is a religious conviction
Both Fox News and CNN will never do that well at 9 PM. On Wednesday, American Idol, Modern Family, Criminal Minds are on. No way people are going to watch a news show when other programs are on. This does not surprise me one bit. American Idol has two episodes left before they name the winner so of course people are not watching CNN.
Got to wonder how many of those “viewers” were all the tvs at the airport.
I've read similar complaints about Mark Steyn here, too. Look, if someone has something intelligent and witty to say, why not listen? Morgan doesn't; Steyn does.
