Report: Conservative Super PAC Planning 'Provocative' Attack on Obama
PBS Newshour ^ | May 17, 2012 | Christina Bellantoni

Welcome to the brave new world of super PAC spending.

The New York Times reports that a Republican super PAC is planning a major attack on President Obama, rehashing a ghost from the 2008 campaign. A 54-page document leaked to the newspaper suggests that the president's one-time, controversial pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, is not only on the table, but the subject of a proposed ad campaign.

The document, being circulated by a group of high-profile donors and consultants, outlines ads to begin around the time of the Democratic National Convention this summer and notes the aim is to "do exactly what John McCain would not let us do."
.
.
The group suggested hiring as a spokesman an "extremely literate conservative African-American" who can argue that Mr. Obama misled the nation by presenting himself as what the proposal calls a "metrosexual, black Abe Lincoln."

The rest of the country will finally be introduced to the real Barack Hussein Muhahaha!, but how is it that McCain could "not let them" run these kinds of ads 4 years ago??? I'm talking in a technical/legal sense here, not campaign policy (since superpacs do not answer to any one campaign).

“Provocative” = effective.

Liberals are always, lying. Always.

I pray that these ads would wake up the American people and expose Obama for who he is: a Marxist, clueless homosexual narcissict thug.

Oops, I used the word “straight”...I hope that’s not a hate crime.

I hope it will be THE nail in husseins coffin. I guess it might depend on how many “natural” deaths happen before it gets off the ground.

It sounds like Barry’s state run “media” is gearing up to defend their child of the earth messiah against those wascally Wepublicans.

The information on Hussein is out there. It remains to be seen if these PACs have the will to use it.

Romney has played down and dirty hardball with *Republican* opponents. Does he have the stones to do it to a Democrat? I’ll believe it when I see it. History indicates the Republican elite are still stupid enough to think they can beat the Dems by leading with the chin.

Haven't the supper pacs evolved a lot over the last 8 years? I know the apologist McCain was always quick to defend Obama on anything that appeared like it might bruise Barry.

McCain wanted to be a gentlemen while Obama was a street thug. Establishment Republicans need to realize we are in a life and death war for Liberty in our nation. In war, you can not be a gentlemen when the enemy doesn't recognize any rules.

Oh really? And they'll do this by targeting which conservative candidate? As of there are any left running?

Because as we all know, conservatives eat their young and leave wounded comrades behind on the battlefield.

Back then it was all about white guilt, and not being construed as a racist. It was thought that any real criticism of Obama would be seen as nothing more than naked racism, at least by RINOs. Just think if McCain were elected president, we would still be fighting that false reality. Now the myth is exposed and many, even in the black community, see Obama for who he really is... a power hungry politician, willing to sell the souls of those closest to him (but not his own) for the golden ring.

The MSM is upset that anyone should know about Obama’s sordid background, yet the WP goes back to Romney’s high school days to portray him as a bully and homophobe. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

“Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.”

Perhaps, now, the chickens will come home to roost.

When a wealthy conservative uses his resources to promote his beliefs the DNC media complex reports this as just short of criminal. Soros, the wealthy dude from Progressive Insurance and many other rich elitists on the Left have been doing this for years but their efforts, when mentioned at all, are painted as compassionate efforts to aid the poor and the downtrodden or to save the Earth. What a pantload.

The MSM is guilty and culpable in not revealing all the easy to find sordid stuff on Obama.

If they had a brain among them, they would realize how dangerous a predicament they have gotten themselves in. Not only should all the JourOlist be banned from media for the remainder of their pathetic lives, but they should be jailed and forced to wear a tatoo on their foreheads saying they are guilty of fraudulent propaganda.

Warning folks:

It has been my experience that whatever the Democrats are accusing the Republicans of doing is exactly what the Democrats are doing!
Therefore, before you assume this article is factual, we need to make sure our own house, and Romney’s, is in order.
Ask yourselves, how would PBS or the Obama camp get their hands on such a sensitive document if it is genuine?

Long past time.

The only thing food about McCain’s choices was Sarah Palin and her family. The rest can be written into poltical hstroy books on how not to run a campaign.
