Next time bring a rail to carry her out on and have the tar and feathers waiting outside.

While you are at it, find out who invited her and have enough tar for them both.

Father Lankester Merrin needs to come back to Georgetown to perform another exorcism. (I know he croaks in the movie).

Please no. We Kansan’s have had enough of her.
Also, her good friend Dr. George Tiller can stay
gone too. I’m fairly confident he will.

Agreed. More sustainable, more visible, less likely to provoke ejection or supportive applause for the wretched woman.

There is general awareness among those who wish to know that there are:

A. About 25 Catholic colleges and universities who keep with the teachings of the Church in all of their dealings (see Franciscan at Steubenville and Ave Maria both of whom were in the news this week about just this) which are noted in a list which comes out yearly.

And:

B. A larger group of colleges and universities as recognized by the bishops (USCCB) as being Catholic by some criteria I’ve never wasted time looking at, as many of these institutions have turned out dissenting and even anti Catholic women (mostly), the majority of whom were raised Catholic and socialized in Cath HS, and then in these places, as such since at least the 1970s.

It was surprising to me NOT AT ALL that OB spoke at Notre Dame. What did surprise me was that anyone was surprised that he did so.

A little attention through the years to who has been speaking at these places and what they’ve said would keep one informed.

Geeze, Bill Clinton himself went to Georgetown.

Read the article in the Examiner. The students and their families gave Sebelius heavy applause in support against the protesters.

This is nothing new.

You’ll have to defend against the pro abort Georgetown crowd who gave her heavy applause.

I graduated from a Jesuit high school. When people ask me if a Jesuit school the same thing as a Catholic school I don’t know what to say. I really am not sure.

I know someone who had a position installing network gear all over the world for Reuters. He was the proverbial fly on the wall with these uber lefties speaking freely around him. In The DC office, the big talk was about how cheap and easy and aggressive and strange Sebellius was in the bars. They thought if her as being kind of pathetic, and kind of gross.

The applause was probably for the restoration of order and not for Sebelius. Protests at a once-in-a-lifetime occasion (your grown child's graduation) make most people very upset, and they don't even think about the reasons, since most people don't examine issues.

That said, I'm resoundingly glad they protested and made the news; and I hope more conservatives start to protest.

About ten years ago GU invited an African Cardinal to give the commencement address, and when he denounced pop culture's emphasis on sex, homosexuality and abortion, the FEMALE FACULTY of Georgetown got up and stomped off the platform.

You might find George Weigel’s “Courage to be Catholic” interesting.

His view of the Jesuits was so well researched, as is all of his writings.

No problem. I was not raised to view everything through a political lense, but I have learned through my 26+ years as an adult that it is completely necessary if one cares to understand what is going on in the world.
